MOCHLOS VILLAGE AND BEACH IN CRETE
Mochlos is a small fishing village between Agios Nikolaos and Sitia. It is one of the few parts of the coast accessible in this region. It's easiest reached from the village of Sfaka from the new national road. Mochlos has extensive Minoan remains, most of which are on the island with the same name (Mochlos) opposite the village, next to the little chapel. Sometimes there's a boat that will take you there, but I have seen people swim to the island. It's not far out of the coast.
