The Simpsons move to Cypress Creek, where Homer has accepted a job at Globex Corporation. While Homer enjoys his work and is impressed by his boss's friendly, down-to-eath style, the rest of the family has trouble adjusting. Marge is bored living in the self-maintaning house, Bart is moved to a remedial program at school, and Lisa is allergic to all of the areas plant life. Homer fails to notice that his boss, Hank Scorpio, is a terrorist and Globex, his vehicle for international extortion. Instead, he basks in the attention of his boss and becomes a relatively competent manager. When he finds out his family is unhappy, however, he must make a choice between Cypress Creek and Springfield. In the midst of a seige on the Globex compound, Homer resigns. The Simpsons return to Springfield and Hank Scorpio takes over the east coast. In appreciation of Homer's services, Scorpio gives him the Denver Broncos. Hank: The key to motivation is trust. Let me show you what I mean. I want you to close your eyes and fall backwards, and I'll catch you that's gonna show you what trust is all about. Ready! Homer: All right. Hank: 3...2...phone rings1 second. Homer falls to the floor Hank: Oh, my God a guy's on the floor. That was a phone call, don't chalk that up to mistrust now. Yes, what happened? When did that happen? How much of it? Oh my goodness I'll be right up. Homer I gotta go upstairs, there's a problem. Somebody ate part of my lunch! I'm gonna leave everything to you, we're on a tight schedule. You keep them motivated. motivation.wav |
