Marge is voted out of the Springfield Investorettes for being too conservative. To beat her former colleagues at their own game, Marge attends a franchise fair and buys a pretzel franchise.

The Investorettes, however, strike back. When Marge tries to sell her pretzels, she is overshadowed by their new falafel van. Marge tries to hand out free samples at a baseball game, but they are hurled at Mr. Burns instead of being eaten. In an attempt to help his wife, Homer asks Fat Tony for assistance.

Soon, orders for Marge's pretzels pour in while the Investorettes' falafel business mysteriously fails. Marge's sales skyrocket, and Fat Tony attempts to collect all the profits. Marge, however, refuses to comply. Fat Tony and his goons arrive at the Simpsons' home for a showdown but are headed off by the Japanese mafia, who are sent by the Investorettes to rub out Fat Tony and his boys.
