for others you do for yourself. CONTRARY: Has the Scrooge in you grown accustomed to the miserly aspect of living? Generosity of spirit is being neglected, either towards yourself or others. Never give to receive, which is manipulation. Give without regret and will a joyful heart. |

In Native American teachings, Turtle is the oldest symbol for planet
Earth. Be mindful of the cycle of give and take with Mother Earth.
Develop you ideas before bringing them to light. Look at the old fable of
the tortoise and the hare. Mother Earth is your ally. Ask her for
guidance, and abundance will follow. CONTRARY: You are not a victim, not helpless in a present bad situation. List the things you are grateful for and from gratitude in your heart, look for the abundance of alternatives that Mother Earth gives. If you have been littering or not placing waste properly, Mother Earth is calling you to reconnect with her. |

Your powers of observation are keen. Look to Weasel power to tell you the
"hidden reasons" behind anything. Use your secret gifts for the good of
all. Observe who or what needs attention, or a solution, and offer your
assistance in your own quiet or discreet way. CONTRARY: Look out for intrigue. Someone may be using convert tactics on you. Also, remember that honesty to self and others is of the utmost importance. Don't lie to yourself, don't slink from the truth on others just because you can. Perhaps you have been doubting your feelings. Observe the obvious. No one can fool you if you watch your step, honor your knowing, seek the "hidden reasons" and use discretion in the process. |

Whale medicine teaches us to use the sounds and frequencies that balance
our emotional bodies and heal our physical forms. To recall WHY the
shaman's drum brings healing and peace is to align with Whales message.
The drum is the universal heartbeat and aligns all beings heart to heart.
Before the advent of speech, the language that was understood was the
sounds of animals. You are being asked to tap into these records and allow
yourself to be sung to by those who have the original language. Find your
own cry or call. Allow your voice to release tension or emotion. You will
be expressing your uniqueness and your personal sound. The animals of your
nine totems may then send their sounds or calls through you or to you.
This will open your personal records to further explore your soul's history
and commune with Whale, who carries the history of us all. CONTRARY: You are not following your sonar or homing device. To clear your head of a lot of blocking chatter, use other sounds to enter the silence. The drum, rattle, flute, or sounds of nature may help. Rock yourself gently to float and flow with the waters of time and collect YOUR answers - they are the only truth that will lead to your personal pathway of knowing. You must desire to know. You will begin to open your unique library of records. Maybe not all at once, for it takes practice, but if you hold the desire to know close to your heart, it will be Whale's gift to you. Wolf is the pathfinder, the forerunner of new ideas who returns to the clan
to teach and share medicine. You may be able to share your personal
medicine with others. Perhaps you should seek out lonely places that will
allow you to see your teacher within, and to find the true you. The senses
of Wolf are very keen and the moon is its power ally. Wolf medicine
empowers the teacher within us all to come forth. CONTRARY: Expand your limited view of the present situation. Take courage and willingness to look at new ideas. Maybe delete some old ideas to make room for expansiveness. Seek the teachers and pathfinders to show you the way to new life experiences - which might be the voice within, a person, a leaf, a cloud, a stone, a tree, a book, or the Great Spirit. |
