Jolting Joe DiMaggio - Dec. 1998

Jolting Joe DiMaggio baseballs
legend of past glory days.
When just a rookie set the league ablaze.

His star shined brighter than any others.
He won everybody's praise.
His 56 game hit streak filled the nation with excitment and craze.

He was always the best so graceful, so true.
He always delivered in the clutch knocked the winning run through.

You could count on him.
The team leader Yankee clipper,
He could always hit a homer or two.
His fielding so excellent flowing with his glove of glue.

There was nothing on the field Jolting Joe DiMaggio could not do.

Where have you gone Joe DimMaggio the popular song they sang
He got old like us all and retired on top of his game.
Where did you go Joltin Joe?
to the baseball hall of fame.
