COFFEE

Coffee was my life's blood.
I wanted it as thick as mud.
I'd growl at any intrusion
if I'd not had my infusion.
Alas the doctor said one day,
"That coffee you must throw away."
To Coke I switched
till the lab work snitched.
So now I'm trying tea
but it just makes me pee.
How is life worth living anymore
if caffienne can not enter my door?
