Out in the Fields with God

The little cares that fretted me
I lost them yesterday,
Among the fields above the sea,
Among the winds at play,
Among the lowing of the herds,
The rustling of the trees,
Among the singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees.

The foolish fears of what might happen,
I cast them all away
Among the new-mown hay,
Among the husking of the corn,
Where drowsy poppies nod,
W here ill thoughts die and good are born....
Out in the fields with God.

The flowers are God's thoughts in bloom.

How Much Does God Love Me?
(Psalm 95:1-7)

How much does God love me?
How much does He care?
How is it He sees me -
Always seem to be there?
If I climb up a mountain;
Dive right down in the sea,
God's sure to be there before me -
Loving and protecting me!

God made ev'ry mountain;
He made ev'ry tree;
Created the oceans -
And He even made me!
Look at the world God gave me,
Ev'rything that I share.
A world that tells me of God's care -
Loving and protecting me!

I'll sing now of God's love!
I'll sing of His care!
I'm glad that He sees me -
Always seems to be there!
I'll sing with joy to the mountains;
Shout out loud at the sea;
Telling the world that God loves me,
Telling of His great love for me!
