This page has many book links. "The Courtyard" wants to make it as easy as possible to get your hands on the books you need, so many of the books have clickable links. The books can be purchased through Roberts Publishing or Amazon.com. Both are excellent sources that I shop at for the books I recommend.
Definitions For Writers By Suzette Fleming. A GREAT book of writing terms and lingo that many beginning writers are unfamiliar with. A good resource to have, especially if you're being edited.

Along with short collections of poetry. Also quotes, trivia, and other interesting things. Definately a good book, and not just for the bathroom!

A Short enough book (about 200 pages) that covers various script formats from telescripts for t.v., to stage plays, to soap operas and movies. SASE...Definition: Self Addressed Stamped Envelope.
Suggestion: Always, always, always, no matter what, send a SASE with any submissions, queries, requests for submission guidelines, contest rules, manuscripts, etc... Without a SASE most professional editors, artistic directors, etc...will look at you as an amateur, and you may not even get a response from them. A SASE is a common courtesy that should always be followed.

Bill's World of Resources for Writer's It sounds casual, but when I first saw the site I was blown away with the number of links he had. There are nearly 200 links on his front page.
