Warmer, no snow - yet!
An okay day. I slept in a bit late, and got up around 10. When I was up, I spied a bag in the kitchen area that I hadn't seen last night. I looked inside and it was. . . my pink file. A chorus of angels sang, at least in my head!
I didn't do too much today. I made brunch for myself and watched last night's "The West Wing".
After Fumihiko came back we went out for dinner. Before that, we ordered the chicken. Hurray! That's another thing done for Christmas dinner. Fumihiko offered to take me to Paris Cinq, a snazzy little French restaurant in Tsuruoka. So, that's where we went. In the parking lot outside he checked his wallet and discovered he didn't have enough money for dinner. I loaned him ten thousand yen.
Our meal was very nice. We had salad and shrimp or sashimi, then pumpkin soup. Our main course was steak, and it was served medium. We skipped dessert, but did have coffee. It was a nice meal.
After dinner, we went back to S-mall. I wanted to get some wrapping papers and see if I could find a key ingredient for Greek salad, feta cheese. The wrapping stuff was easy, but the feta? Hmmm.
We ended up going to 3 different grocery stores, but none of them had anything like feta cheese. I'll try one more place, maybe tomorrow, and then I may have to give up on the idea. Sigh.
We came home and watched Desperate Housewives live for a change. It was okay tonight. Fumihiko did some paperwork for me and we faxed it off to my old company. Hope it gets there soon.
And that was my day. Not too exciting, but it's done. Gotta go, night!
