December 19, 2006 - Tuesday

Rainy in the morning, clearing at night.

I slept in very late this morning, but then got up and showered. I didn't do very much in the early part of the day. In the afternoon I watched a couple of Friends episodes while I cooked then ate lunch. It was nice.

I rode off to my school around 5:30 pm. It wasn't raining so it was quite a nice ride. There was one strange thing that happened on the way though. A small car passed me and went back into the lane. As it did, it started making a terrible clattering noise. The car kept going for a bit, then seemed to slam on it's brakes and just sit there in the way for a while. I wasn't really sure what was going on, so I got off my bike and off the road, and walked around it. I wasn't sure about the car's driver. It seemed a bit strange to me. However I got to the school, set up and taught my lesson. It went quite well. After class I showed my student my glue ornaments that I'd made in the children's classes. She was very interested in them.

I had left my phone at home when I went to the school, so I couldn't let Fumihiko know that I was coming home. I decided to just bike home. I had a quiet ride home. It was quite cold then.

After I came home we went out for dinner. We went to M's Dining where we both had chicken. Mine wasn't very good. I had a bad feeling about it, and I wish I'd had more of a nerve to send it back. It seemed a bit off. Fumihiko said his was fine, but I'm not so sure about mine.

After dinner we went to the grocery store and got groceries. It looks like we're going to try cooking at home tomorrow night.

We didn't do much at home. I did just watch two episodes of Alias. That show is addictive! I like it, but find it hard to explain exactly what happens in each episode. It's very convoluted.

That was my day. It was quiet, and okay. Hopefully, I'll be able to have some fun tomorrow. I don't have any classes then. Yay me. Night.
