Mostly clear with a bit of rain...but not much.

I'm going to make this short as I'm really not feeling well. I feel a bit hot and I'm very achy. I don't think it's the norovirus, but I suppose it's possible. I'm planning to go to bed early and get some sleep. Maybe I can get better quickly.

Today I got up, taped the news and then went back to sleep! A bit cheeky but I was very tired. I didn't go to bed until 4.

When I did get up, I prepared our chicken for the evening, and then I got onto my computer. I didn't touch it until around noon. Later in the afternoon I prepared my lunch and watch 4 straight episodes of Friends. I've now finished season 8. Only two more to go.

I had an uneventful ride over to the school and got ready. The school was nice and warm today, I'd set the heater properly. Yay me. My classes went well, and I left the school after turning off the water.

I got home, feeling achy and breaky, and found my husband eating ramen. He knew that I'd be home sometime around 9 and he also knew that I was cooking dinner tonight, so why oh why did he have to eat that crap? I decided not to cook dinner. I wasn't very hungry and he obviously wasn't anymore.

I grumped for a while, but then went over to the couch for a cuddle. After about an hour I decided that I probably should cook the chicken as I wouldn't have another chance for a while. So, I did. I also prepared some sauteed spinach with bacon and mushrooms, and got out the salad we'd bought yesterday. I got Fumihiko to set the table, and then had a discussion with him about what that actually means. He has a habit of just putting out plates and nothing else. If I nag him he'll put out forks or hashi, but he doesn't think to put out the salad dressings or anything else that might be needed. He tried to feed me some nonsense that it's because in Japan they bring the food to the table in small dishes, already prepared. I pointed out that we've been married for 5 years and that's ample time for him to have figured out what I meant! We weren't fighting, I want to make that clear, just discussing it!

The tandori chicken was pretty good tonight. I'd used a new kind, in a packet. It's Tikka tandori. I could have put the meat on skewers, but I didn't have any. Fumihiko liked it, but said it was hotter than our usual brand. The spinach was good too, but there wasn't enough of it!

Fumihiko did the dishes and I surfed the web for a bit. I'm writing this so that I can get myself off to bed soon. I'm tired, and I'm worried that I'll be too sick to go out tomorrow night. Oh no!

Anyway, that was my day. It was okay. I'll have 3 days in a row with my hubby...wish me luck! Got to go, night!
