Cloudy and cool day.
Yesterday wasn't great, remember? And, well, today, not great either. Fumihiiko didn't sleep well last night, which meant that I didn't sleep well. Just as I was finally drifting off to sleep, he'd have a coughing fit and wake me up. I know it wasn't on purpose, but after the day we had, it seemed a bit like it!
In the morning I woke up but was so tired I stayed in bed much longer than usual. I got up when I heard a delivery truck outside. I thought it might be for me, so I got dressed. It wasn't, but it was a good thing to get up.
I showered too, I wanted to do as much as I could early so the repair guy wouldn't come at a bad time. Someone is supposed to come and repair our air conditioner. It's working strangely.
I did take a nap in the afternoon, or at least I tried to. I didn't sleep, but it was nice to relax and dream for a while.
I ate a very late lunch and then went out to my school. I was running late, but I still got the things done I needed to. I did some photocopying and had a few problems figuring it out, but everything worked out. My class went well too. The student stayed a bit late to chat for a while, but that was kind of nice.
Fumihiko picked me up and we went to M's Dining for dinner. They've just changed their menu and added a lot of new dishes. I have the feeling that the relaxation of the importing beef from the US and Canada have something to do with that!
We bought tomorrow night's dinner from the grocery store. I think we're going to have pork kimchee, deep fried eggplant and salad. Then we came home.
At the apartment I was surprised to see that my computer was sleeping. I'd turned it off in the morning, but it didn't finish, I guess. I tried to check my email, and I couldn't. The guy who set up Fumihiko's new computer today managed to completely screw up my settings for my computer. I can't connect to the internet. Fumihiko doesn't have any idea why. Umm, because your system and mine are different, and now your system has changed all of my settings. So, he promises that he'll call tomorrow and get the guy to come back and fix my computer again, but I won't hold my breath. Fumihiko is on a wireless system and now there's a new modem between my computer and the internet. I have no idea what the guy has done. I can't even post this because I can't connect. How much fun is that? None.
So, anyway, no I'm still not having a good day. I thought that today would be better, it was, but only marginally. Tomorrow was my "day off" but I'll have to hang around here and wait for the computer guy....but I have classes to plan. This is nuts. I had planned to go and get my hair cut. Maybe I still will. If I can get out of the apartment.
