Cloudy and rainy.
Today I got to do what I really wanted to do--nothing! Seriously. I slept in. I didn't get up to stay until the afternoon. I really needed the sleep. After I got up I didn't do much besides computer stuff and making a very late lunch.
When Fumihiko came home we had a bit of a cuddle and then we went out for dinner. We talked about going to the hotel, but ended up going to La Chance. There was a sign on the door saying that they are going to move at the end of the month. It's very sad. After our meal, Fumihiko asked where they were moving but the waitress didn't know. That tells me that they are probably closing permanently, Japan being such a land of understatement. It's much easier to say "We're moving" than to say "We're closing".
We went to Toda books after dinner. Fumihiko picked up a book on taxes for my business and then I got a Reader's Digest. I like the articles.
We had a couple of drinks in the Seatle's Best Coffee, plus picked up next week's supply of decafe coffee. I had peppermint tea, which was very nice, if a bit too hot to drink at first. I had to put most of my water in it to cool it down.
Tonight we went to see Pirates of The Caribbean-Dead Man's Chest. I had heard that it wasn't good, but you know what? I loved it! It was a hoot. The action scenes were great, and Will even got to do a Douglas Fairbanks/Errol Flynn type of move with a knife and the sail. I LOVED that! Keira Knightly was even more gorgeous than ever, and they've bulked Will up a bit so he looks a bit more manly. Johnny Depp was great, I think he wasn't as over the top as he was in the first movie, and I think that was wise. There must have been the temptation to overplay Jack Sparrow, and he didn't. Yay.
We stopped off at Gusto for a late late supper and then came home. While we were in Gusto, for some stupid reason I started playing around with my cellphone and reset it. I deleted everything. Luckily I had a memory disk in the thing, so I've only lost things that I put in after last August, but that's enough, isn't it? All my photos since then, any emails that were special. Sigh. Never play with your phone when you aren't thinking clearly, or back it up first if you do!
We came home, and that was that basically. Fumihiko is off to bed. He's off work tomorrow so I'm hoping that he gets to have a nice day. He says he might take off Thursday as well.
Got to go! Night night.
