Rainy, snowy and a bit cool.
A pretty good day all told. In the morning we went out for breakfast. We were going to go to Moku-Moku, but the parking lot was really full. We went to Amarume and had a nice lunch at a log cabin restaurant. The only problem was that the service was bad. The food was good though. I had fish today.
After lunch we tried to find an exhibit that an ex student of mine had. We drove around, but as we'd forgotten to bring the address, we couldn't find it. We decided to come home and pick up the postcard with the address on it.
We drove off and this time, armed with the address and the map on the postcard. We found it. The gallery was in a lovely spot, kind of in the wilderness! We went in and found that my ex-student was there too! We looked at her paintings and they were gorgeous. She did mainly watercolours. I've always liked watercolours. We had coffee and chatted for a while. It was nice.
Fumihiko had to go to his work party tonight, so I got him to take me to MaxValu for some things for dinner. We hacked around the store and got a few things. I picked up more sunflower seeds!
We came home and Fumihiko packed a few things, we kissed a few times and then he left. Sigh. I checked email a bit and then I got started with my stamping.
I made a few tags and about 3 cards. I think they look really good. I'll have to try and get them sent off in the next couple of days. It took a long time and I did a lot of stamping. But, I enjoyed it and I tried a few new techniques.
I watched Beverly Hills Cop 3 which was on the tv. It was okay, but not great.After that was over I decided to make my friend in Canada happy. I put on Firefly. I watched two episodes and changed the disc. Then I realized that I hadn't watched the premiere episode yet! I took out the second disk and then put the first one back again. It's okay, but I haven't seen enough to know if I like it or not. I sort of like it, but I'm not sure yet.
And that's about it. I'll post this soon and I may even go to bed soon. Or not. I don't get free nights like this very much.
