Warm and sunny, bit overcast in the late afternoon.
Today was okay, but I didn't get my hair cut. Sigh. Oh well. This morning I just couldn't get out of bed. Don't know why. I didn't go to bed that late last night or anything. Even when I did get up and made the bed, I ended up lying on it for a while. Just couldn't get motivated.
Finally got roused to take my shower but used the old shampoo, not the silvery bonus one. Sigh. So, my hair didn't look terrific today, just okay.
After messing around on my computer for way too long, I got my package from the delivery service. Finally. Yeah. It was around 2, and while I maybe could have had my hair done, I would have been rushed. I just decided to wait. What I did do was re-install my OS. The guys at the Apple computer store in Sakata suggested that that might help my "disk failing" message. So, I re-installed while I cooked lunch and watched Friends. Note to stupid computer guys....it didn't work!
Friends today was great. It was all about Chandler trying to propose to Monica, but things kept happening which stopped him. Her ex-boyfriend showed up at the restaurant they were at and then sat at the next table and talked to them all through the romantic dinner Chandler had planned. Sigh. Poor guy. Still, when it happened it was great! Much more romantic than my proposal. Double sigh. Of course, when Fumihiko proposed to me I laughed in his face! I thought he was joking. It was our first date.
I went off to my school around 5 after blowing up my bicycle tires. I had a nice ride there, and got busy when I got to the school.Today was vacuuming and dusting day. I got the mound of dust that I'd been hiding behind the garbage can, and dusted the bookshelves and the shelf in the toilet room. Yay me. When my student came, we had a good lesson. Today we talked about different types of housing. It was interesting.
After 8 I just came home. I didn't think that hubby would be home, but he was! He was surprised to see me. I hadn't called to say I was coming. When I came home I got busy. I cooked dinner. I heated up my soup and added spices today. I threw in some oregano, dill, garlic and curry. I think they needed more time to blend, but it tasted good anyway. I also cooked the chicken. We had spicy drumsticks again. They're so easy and taste really good. Yay me! We ate soup while they were cooking. We shared an onion salad too. So, dinner was really yummy and remarkably easy. Of course, the soup was already made, but it's good to have "fast food". At 8:30 or so, I don't want to be cooking something that takes a while. Tomorrow though, we're going out. Yeah!
I did dishes while Fumihiko took his bath. He was so tired that tonight I suggested to him that we start exercising to build up our endurance. Lately he just has been too tired. I think walking might help a bit. The only problem for me is that because he's so much taller than me, his stride is longer. I have to run to keep up and then I'm too winded and don't enjoy the walk. If he walks at my pace he doesn't get a work-out. Sigh. What to do? I'd like to go to a gym and walk or lift weights, but that's not really his thing.
Anyway, he's off to bed now, and is sleeping. I'll hopefully go soon, but I have to prepare the plastic garbage for him to take out tomorrow morning. Poor guy! Actually, no, it's poor me. I get the tougher part of the equation.
