October 25, 2007 - Thursday

Sunny and quite warm.

A good day. I got up fairly early and had a good shower. I ended up watching a movie called The Family Stone on WOWOW. It starred Sarah Jessica Parker, who is an actress that I don't really like. I expected to hate it, but I ended up enjoying and even had tears at the end of the movie. Not bad at all. I'd like to see the whole thing sometime.

I decided that I should really mail my sister's birthday present today. I wrapped it and then ran it off to the post office. I got it mailed and then went to a convenience store for a bottle of tea and a sandwich. When I came out of the store, I was a bit surprised. I had parked my bicycle in the bicycle parking space. It had a big picture of a bike right on the cement, so I was definitely in the right place. I found a car had parked about 50 cm away from my bike. The owner of the car came out of the store right behind me, so I decided just to take my own sweet time getting my bike unlocked and out of his way. He was parked so close to me that he couldn't get into his car until I moved. Oh, and lest you think that this was a tiny parking lot with no room, think again. It was a big parking lot and there was lots of room, further away from the store.

I came home, ate my sandwich and then after a while I went to my school. I did a lot of paperwork today. It seems like I have to give letters to my students about changing textbooks, renewing lessons and holidays. Argh! My class went okay today. We didn't cover as much as I wanted to with the student.

After class I did more paperwork, then did dishes and called Fumihiko. He picked me up and we went to Cocos for dinner tonight. It was quite nice I thought.

We came home and spent a quiet evening at home, until midnight. At midnight we watched Extras. It was hysterical in places. There were quite a few guest stars on the show, the chief one being Daniel Radcliffe. Also on the show was Warwick Davis and Diana Rigg. Daniel Radcliffe was very funny. He was very different to Harry Potter. He was smoking, tried to get drinks , and tried to get it on with any woman on the set. It was a hoot.

That's it for today. Not a bad day at all. I was quite busy...and tomorrow won't be much better. I'll try to let you know about it tomorrow night. Bye!!
