October 26, 2007 - Friday

Clear then rainy, then misty in the evening.

Today was a long and different day, but it's already 2:30 in the morning so I'll just give you the quick version...is that okay?

I got up early this morning, got dressed and went out for breakfast with Fumihiko to Gusto. We went to the hospital after that. Fumihiko found where he was supposed to be, and then we waited. We were shown up to his floor and then we waited a bit longer. Finally he got shown to his room. He had three room-mates, 2 of which were older men that didn't seem too well. One of them was quite cranky and kept closing Fumihiko's curtain so he didn't have to see me. Whatever! After a while, Fumihiko changed and then was taken down for his tests. I went with him, but couldn't go in the testing rooms of course.

Everyone was very nice to him and to me. I have to say that the hospital looks wonderful. It's quite new, and is extremely clean. I stayed with Fumihiko for a bit after his test, but I had to leave around 2 to come home. I had to get ready for work.

I came home on foot in the rain. It wasn't that bad, the rain wasn't the hard soaking kind we get too much of here. At home I showered, ate, and then headed off for work. I picked up some more food at the grocery store and ate it at my school.

I was scheduled for 3 classes today, but my middle student couldn't come. That was quite sad. My first student's mother came today and I think she wants to change his class time. I think it'll be okay...not so convenient for me, but okay.

After my classes I cleaned up a bit and then left the school. I came home via the grocery store again and got dinner. I had some chicken, salad and some fruit. It was all very nice. I relaxed for a while, I watched the end of Medium from earlier in the day, then I put on my dvd set of Corner Gas...and watched the last episode of it, plus the bonus features. It was funny. I really like that show.

And that was my day. I didn't get a call from Fumihiko...but he sent me a mail saying he'd call me after 9 pm. Unfortunately, my class went a little late, and I didn't get a call. Sigh. Oh well. I hope he realizes what happened. He probably couldn't leave his room or something. Poor thing.

Well, tomorrow dear readers, I'm off to Sendai for a teacher's thing. I'll be back on Monday or Tuesday (depends how tired I am!) with all the news that's fit to blog. I'll catch you all then. Night night!
