Drizzly most of the day.

Last night before bed I took one of the pills the doctor gave me and I slept all through the night. That was great. I felt a bit better in the morning. Fumihiko got up early to go to the doctor about his back, but I stayed in bed. I did get up around 10 which was good for me. I also watched today's episode of Criminal Minds. Fumihiko returned and watched that one with me. It was the first part of a 2 parter and it was good. So scary.

We each had a bagel at home and Fumihiko had some other stuff, so neither of us was really hungry. Finally, a bit before 3 Fumihiko suggested that we go to the mall to see a movie and to have lunch.

We drove out to Mikawa and had lunch in Cocos. I had pasta today, salmon cream and Fumihiko had tonkatsu. I liked mine, he was ambivalent about his.

We zoomed over to the mall then and found the perfect parking spot. It was just outside the door, and right next to the road. No way we could lose the car!

We went in and went up to the theatre. The movie was due to start in a few minutes, so we bought tickets (Fumihiko) and popcorn (me). I got us the Narnia sets today. The total was only one hundred yen more than the pair set, and we each got huge popcorns, but only small drinks. The drinks were served in reusable plastic cups with the Narnia movie picture on them. We also got small coin purses, so it was sort of nice! We went into the theatre, did our washroom run, and then enjoyed the show. And, enjoyed it I did. We saw National Treasure : Book of Secrets, and it was fun. Yes, fun. No deep thoughts here, no real historic significance, just having fun at the movies.

After the movie we visited the hardware store near the mall, then went back to the mall for a drink. I realized that along with everything else that's going on with me, my throat is sore, which usually means I'm getting a cold. Bleck.

We came home via the drugstore and the ramen shop for Fumihiko. He wanted ramen, so had some. I wasn't hungry.

Around 11 we went out again to a gyudon shop for dinner. I still wasn't too hungry, but thought I'd better eat something! Fumihiko and I talked a little and I think he was surprised to find out that my headache is always there. It doesn't really go away. In the morning today it wasn't bad, just hovering in the background, but when we were in the gyudon place it was acting up. It wasn't the worst, but it was there.

We came home and had a very quiet evening in. We're both on our computers and haven't talked much in ages. Who was it that talked about companionable silences? We're in one now. And it's nice.

But, all good things must come to an end and so I think I'll end this now. Have a good night!
