September 4, 2008 - Thursday

Cloudy in the morning, hot and sunny in the afternoon.

I did get up this morning, but fell asleep later. When I got up I showered and then did laundry. I did quite a lot, but it's all done for now. Hurray for that.

I had a quiet afternoon at home. There wasn't much on TV as there was tennis and baseball on. Oh yay. Two sports that I don't like much.

After 5 I left our apartment and went off to my school. It was hot inside. I cooled it down and did a bit of busy work around the school. I swept, dusted and re-decorated a tad. I also worked on one of my classes for Saturday. I recorded myself giving the speech that my student has to give. I can do all kinds of things with that.

My students were fine today. They seemed to learn what I needed them to learn and I think they enjoyed the class. When it was over, they went home and I called my husband. He picked me and my bike up a few minutes later.

We had to go home first for him to change his clothes. He was still in his uniform. We went home, I dropped off my backpack and picked up a few cds for the car too.

We had dinner at Cocos tonight. We both had grilled chicken with garlic soy sauce. It was good. I tried the tea of the month too. This month it's fig tea. It was nice. I originally had planned to have the carbonara, but I looked at the calorie count and noticed that the grilled chicken had less, a lot less then the soup carbonara.

We made a quick trip through the grocery store for, well, groceries! I'll try and cook dinner tomorrow night.

At home we had a quiet evening. Fumihiko watched a bunch of Japanese TV which I basically ignored. My one question is why does he never turn off the TV when he goes off to take his shower? I wasn't watching the TV and I really didn't want it on. I turned it off a few minutes later. Sigh.

Anyway, that was my day. I finished up my "jobs" for the day by setting up the coffee pot for tomorrow and preparing the plastic garbarge for my husband to take out in the morning.
