Chapter 11
Phoenix
As the ship hit the planet, it exploded. The explosion was so large it took half the unpopulated world with it. From that piece of mass destruction came life. Like the phoenix, life rose from its ashes, a single being rose. Neither named Adam nor David its name was simply Warlock.
I/we was dressed in war clothes with my cape and wearing my ring. At first I/we panicked because we were in space, and there was no air. After holding my breath for as long as I/we could I/we gave up and slowly took in a breath of fresh air. My cape! That's what my cape does! I/we could breathe anywhere! Wait a second. I felt funny. What was this I/we stuff? "Adam?"
"David?"
I felt him, there, within me but he wouldn't answer me. Somehow, I felt stronger, smarter, whole. Like before this I had always missed something in my life, like an inside joke. Confused, I started to fly to the closest planet.
Suddenly, I stopped. Something instinctively told me to look over myself one more time. Suddenly, I saw a hidden pocket deep inside my cape. Investigating, I found a note. As I carefully pulled it out and read it, it said, "By now you have crumbled The Great Thanos's empire, my sons/son. I always knew it would turn out this way. When I accidentally broke the gem and gave it to your mother, it made you to pairs like the gem, twins. Now everything has been corrected. You two were always meant to be one. I love you my sons and I beg you to end your vow to kill Thanos."
I flipped the paper, "It will ruin your life. Take my name as your own my son, It would make me proud. Don't return to Questworld, I can not let you see the noble, beautiful, land in its ruin. I've sent your mother to Omega 187. Tell her everything and please take care of her. But don't worry about your mom, like me she'll want you to use you youth, It won't last forever. So, Just fly into the stars and take chances, have adventures, fall in love, live your life the best way you can. Make a difference, don't waste your special abilities on nothing. Help people and stay smart. Good journeys my sons/son I love you."
