Disclaimer: Some of theses stories may not be very good. And that's okay. Some of them may really stink. And that's okay. Some of them may make you want to wretch, and scream "He's an insult to Journalism!!!!! Kill Him! KILL HIM!!!" and that's okay. If you find you hate one of these stories, and you decide to email me, that's not okay. I don't want to know what kind of loser story teller I am. Ray Bradbury once said that you can write one short story a day, and at the end of the year, you'll have 365 short stories. And only 2% of those will be any good. It is, however, impossible to write 365 bad short stories, the law of averages demands a good story every once in a while. So, yes. some of theses story are bad. some of them are really good. I leave it to you to decide which is which.
Okay, here we have some stories I have written. Some of them are good, some of them are really bad. I'll let you Decide for yourself
NEW!
1.One Summer Night- The story of True Love found. Whoever said "Tis Better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all," never loved and lost, cause let me tell you, it sucks.
2.It's All Been Done Before- This is another tale about true love found, but through quite a different means. My sister described this one as "That Creepy Dream Story."
3.A Fairy Tale- This is not really a serious story, and wassn't really meant to be anything more then just something to pass the time when I wrote it. Still, I've been told it's a cute story, and it's one that I've written, so up it goes.
4.The Bagger's Game- I'm not really sure how to describe this one. It's a tale of a bagger, a cashier, and a game. (No, not like Gerald's Game, thank you very much).
5.The Closer- This is a very dark story, about a bad day taken to the extreme.
6.The Closer, Version 2.- No, you have not read this story yet. Yes, it sounds like the one above, but it takes a 180 degree turn at the end.
7. Untitled- This story is untitled, as you might have guessed, but it is based on a commercial and I wanted to see what I could do with it in the way of novelization.
8. Kudzu- Not really a humerous story, but the plot is kind of goofy, and It's a story I wrote, so, up it goes also.
9. - Court of Popular Opinion - Not remembering at all where this story came from, I wrote it, and I think it's pretty good. I like to imagine the look on Jerem'y face at the end of the story.
10.55 Fiction Stories- Each of these stories only has 55 words in them. Believe it or not.
11. Shoes- Ladies and Gentleman, friends and neighbors, please gather round, for this is my longest story. At final count, it was 93 pages long, 35,701 words, and almost 2000 paragraphs. I present to you, my Opus.
12. Friends and Lovers- The second longest stoy I have ever written, I'm particularly proud of this one. I think it's my favorite.
A Day in the Life is an endeavor I have undertaken to write about twenty short stories, and to connect them all through a single event that each of the main characters meet up with at some point in their story. I plan to eventually have fifteen to twenty, but right now, I only have five, with ideas for two more.
1.The Long Walk- The title is about the only thing It has oin common with the Stephen King Story, so I hope you don't think I'm plagiarizing, cause I'm not. It's just that the main character does a lot of walking.
2.Statues- Statues is about an art collector, and a man in black, and some rather strange art items.
3.The Bartender's Tale- The Bartender doesn't actually show up until halfway through the story, but he has an integral part, and yes, he was mentioned before.
4.The Train- I thought this story was kind of anti-climactic, but maybe you'll like it. It dovetails nicely into the first story in this section.
5.All Things Work Together- The story of a boy, a girl, a rain storm, a free way, and two complicated flashbacks that left me confused as I wrote this.
Just so you know, these are all true.
1.the Barbecue Sauce Affair- Sometimes, you just have to wonder...
2.nonfiction story- Every Halloween I post this one at Dragonmount, and this year, I got someinteresting answers back. they ranged from, Youre going crazy, to The devil is playing games with you.
3.Cuellar's Rules of Life- I don't think anything more needs to be said about this.
4.My Rant- Stuff about stupid people
5.A Treatise to Customers- Some simple requests that all people should follow when they become customers
1.For Sarah- A poem about a girl I know at my church.
2.What Do I Want?- A poem about what I need to be happy.Subtitled, To My Mother (since she asked me the question, What do you want to be happy?)
3.To Laura- this is a poem about Laura. Maybe someday, I'll be able to tell you about her without depressing myself beyond all belief.
4.The Apology- A very interesting way to say I'm sorry. Especially when phrases like "I am dog crap on the sidewalk of life" and "I am the black crud inbetween the toenails on the wandering rhino of life" just don't cut it.
5.My Really Cool Poem- This is a poem with a twist. at First glance, it's perfectly nromal, not really naming who it is about. or does it?
6.Unknown Girl Poem- I was ored out of my mind in Phys Ed, and I looked at the girl sitting next to me. She was trying to sleep. She looked calm, peaceful and beautiful. I started writing, and this is what came out.
7. You're Going Away - This is a therapeutic poem I wrote at a time when I needed an outlet for a bunch of crap that had crashed down on me all at once. It helped. This poem is intensely personal, and if you make fun of me, or it, I'll kill you.
Dragonmount is one of the premiere sources on teh web for Wheel of Time Role Play, and fanfic, and general meeting of people. I have written numerous things for this Community. In depth, we have:
1.Lone Wolf's Bio.- The biography of one of the Characters I am.
2.Kain Trowsbane's Bio- The bio of another character I play as, but not as much.
3.Wot/Mst3K- A combination of the Wheel of Time, and Mystery Science Theater 3000
4.The Saga of the Amyrlin's Kidnapping- This was an RP thread that went for a couple months. I collected it all, and put it down in order.
5.The Death of Chissa- This was another RP thread that I had used, when the person I was "bonded to," had to leave to join another org.
Then, there were the silly stories. These are written to be humerous, and for you to really enjoy them, you have to have a working knowledge of Dragonmount, and the people there, and a working knowledge of the world of The Wheel of Time.
6.The Aiel Humor Contest- This is the story that I and my ex-girlfriend wrote to win the Aiel Humor Contest.
7.My First Silly- This is the first silly story I tried my hand at, and I must say, it went rather well.
1.In the Twilight Zone- This is the sort of Twilight Zone-like screenplay. It may read a little rough, but then, I've never written a screen play before.
2.RiftTraveler- This is a fantasy novel that I am working on, and that I hope to have completed sometime before I die. I basically know what i want to do with it, and where I want to go, but... we'll see how it goes. This is an excerpt from a part that I have a ways to write before our heroes get here, but it was a part I just had to write, so here it is.
3.Of Elves and Dracs- This is a story based on a dream I had, that takes place in the RiftTraveler dimension, and has the history of one of the main characters.
4.Connor- This is a fiction story that has a basis in fact. I don't claim to make any predictions with this story, it is just a story, that my wild imaginiation gave me.
Also linked from this page is my page of Dedications, where you can see who each story is dedicated to. Please click there to read the list of Honorees.
- I have just added this previews section to my page, so here it is. Coming soon I have stories about:
