Hunting for the Troll. Where can he be?

There he is! And look! This is a rare sight indeed...a bob-tailed rat and a troll relaxing together! Actually, this is Loch with our cat Bucky. My how simple were the days of yore, before the troll walked the earth. Seems that when Loch started his Shiatsu massage, Bucky turned into a raging kitty maniac. He currently lives the good life on my mom's farm, sniffing, as she says, "every leaf in the yard".

Loch and Chibba get along SO much better than he and Bucky did, though sometimes she resorts to giving him that "I've had enough of you, kid" look. Then she just daintily plops down somewhere out of his reach. Here, they were just taking a little getting-to-know-you sniff from each other.

Yeah, THAT'S the look. Pulling chibba's tail is one of Loch's hobbies. He enjoys it so long as she sits still. He gets nervous when her paws get too close. But she has NEVER scratched him. She does, however, lay into me on a regular basis.
