Emergency General Meeting

The Emergency General meeting of Whitehead Community Association was held on Thursday 17 June 2010 at 7.30pm. A quorum was achieved.
The Chairman addressed the meeting on the background to the EGM.
The meeting agreed unanimously that it authorised the Committee to alter the status of Whitehead Community Association from that of a Voluntary Association to a Community Interest Company (CIC) if, after consultation with other interested bodies, the Committee deemed it necessary.
It was acknowledged that if the Association needed to move to the status of a CIC, that a further EGM would be held to authorise the dissolution of the Association.
