The Stages of Cell
When created by Dr. Gero, Cell was meant to have 4 main stages. It's soul purpose was to absorb Androids 17 and 18.
· Larva
· Imperfect
· Imperfect w/ 1 Android
· Perfect
But through all of Cell's difficulties, he had many more.
This form of Cell is known as the Larva stage. It started off much smaller than this, and grows much larger than this. At full size, it has some characteristics of Imperfect Cell, and some characteristics of the Larva. |
This is Imperfect Cell. This form lives off of the life of humans. Using it's stinger-like tail, it absorbs the life and energy of anything it crosses. The more it absorbs, the better chances it has of absorbing the Androids. |
This stage is Cell's Second Form. He reaches this stage after absorbing Android 17. He keeps his tail and wings, but all of his other features change. He loses his 'beak' and gains a mouth, and his voice changes greatly. He is also much stronger in this form. |
This was suppose to be Cell's Perfect and final form. He is supposedly at maximum power, and also looks a lot better. He looses his tail, but keeps the 'stinger' which is conneted directly to his back. He is easily twice as strong most of the Z Fighters. |
When Gohan tells Cell about his hidden power, he can't stand but to try and release them. He creates these Cell Jrs. to attack the other Z Fighters, and possible kill them. These mini Cells are almost as strong as Cell, and do a good job of beating up the Z Fighters until Gohan transforms into a Super Saiyan 2 and kills them in one blow each. |
I like to call this Losing Cell. After a blow to the stomach by SS2 Gohan, Cell begins to spit out Android 18. He then turns back to his Second Form. This is where Cell really begins to become desperate. |
I call this one, Frustrated Cell. With no way of beating Gohan, Cell begins to self destruct. He figures if he can't win, then nobody can. Unfortunatly for Cell, this is a TV show, and the good guys always win. So, at the last minute, Goku teleports Cell away from the Earth. Killing only Cell, Goku, King Kai, Bubbles, and Gregory. |
Last but not least, Super Perfect Cell. Cell somehow regenerates and uses his new "instant transmission" skill to teleport back to Earth. With his Saiyan "get stronger after injury" cells, he becomes much stronger. Again, too bad for Cell, Gohan kills him after a Kamehameha struggle. |
