The Vegeta series all starts off when Goku goes to Mr. Roshi's island for a visit, since he hadn't seen his friends in years. They were planning on having sort of a reunion. The only ones who are there is Krillin, Bulma, and Master Roshi. Goku comes in and brings along a little guy that looks a bit like Goku when he was smaller. Goku tells them that it is his and Chi-chi's son. His name is Gohan, just as he is being presented to Goku's friends a human like alien by the name of Raditz appears. He tells them all that he is Goku's older brother, and that he comes from another planet called planet Vegeta. He tells them all that he had come back to check up on his brother. Everyone is suprised and Goku tells him that he doesn't remember anything.
This is when we find out that Goku fell on a mountain side when he was small, and suffered from amnesia. He had forgotten his mission of destroying all of the inhabitants of Earth. Raditz asks Goku what happened to his tail, and Goku tells him that it had been cut off for good. Raditz gets enraged and tells Goku that it (the tail) is their true power. Raditz explains that they come from a race of warriors, a race by the name of Saiya-Jin's, and when they see the full moon they can turn into a wear monkey called Oozaru. This is when Goku first finds out that it was he, Goku, that had killed his grandfather many years ago. Goku gets angry and attacks Raditz, but Raditz shows to be a lot stronger than Goku and knocks him out in one hit.
Raditz notices that Gohan has a tail and so learns that it is Goku's son. He takes him hostage and leaves. Just as he leaves Piccolo comes in! Everyone is surprised at the arrival of Piccolo. Piccolo explains that Goku will not be able to defeat Raditz, not alone. This is when an alliance forms between Goku and Piccolo. They agree to work together to finish Raditz off. Piccolo explains that he is not doing this to rescue Gohan, but because Raditz is coming between Piccolo's plans of conquering the world. Goku and Piccolo have no trouble finding them since Gohan had a dragonball on his hat. They followed them with the Dragon Radar (remember it form Dragonball). They arrive to find Gohan trapped crying in Raditz space ship. They must first fight Raditz to get Gohan so they do this. At first it looks really bad for Goku.
Gohan is still trapped in the space ship and with a rage of anger his power level increases tremendously. He manages to break the spaceship and goes directly for Raditz and head butts him, which causes Raditz's armor to break, but Raditz then pushes Gohan away. Everyone is surprised at Gohan's high power level. Piccolo and Goku are still fighting and then Goku is able to get hold of Piccolo and tells him to do his finishing attack, which goes through Raditz and Goku as well.Raditz asks why Goku sacrified his life just to destroy him, Piccolo explains to him that he can easily be revived by the DragonBalls. Raditz explains to Piccolo that everything that he just told him was also told to Raditz's fellow Saiya-Jin's, the last of the Saiya-Jin's, and that they were going to come to Earth to finish them off and find the DragonBalls within a couple of months and that they are a lot stronger than he, then dies. Goku dies as well.
So now everyone has to start training for the arrival of the other Saiya-Jin's, which are supposed to be way stronger than Raditz. Piccolo kidnaps Gohan and decides to train him. He lets him alone in a deserted island to live on his own for a couple of months, and if he lived, he would then be worthy of receiving training. The months go by and Piccolo then trains Gohan, while Krillin, Ten shin han, Yamcha, Yajirobe, and Chaozu receive special training by Kami-sama. At the same time this is happening, Goku is still in heaven and training as well. He goes out and trains with the great Kaioh-sama, there he learns how to do the "Kaioh-ken" and the "Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb)". The Saiya-Jin's arrive just as told and Yamcha is the first to die. He gets killed when one of the Saya-Jin's plants five "Saibamen", which are little green men, and one of these easily kills him. After Yamcha dies, the little green men are all killed. Goku has not yet gotten been revived. The two Saiya-Jin's names are Nappa and Vegeta. Vegeta does not fight at all, but just watches and gives orders to Nappa. This is when Piccolo first finds out about who he really is since the Saiya-Jin's call him a "Namek".
The next to go is Chaozu when he self-destucted in an attempt to kill Nappa. But this did nothing to Nappa. Tien is enraged and goes for Nappa, but gets a limb cut off and later dies. Then Piccolo and Krillin come in and attack him in mid air when he is not seeing. As Nappa is heading to hit the Earth, Piccolo and Krillin both scream at Gohan to finish him off, but Gohan show his cowardness and does nothing. This might of been their only chance to defeat him. Vegeta tells Nappa to stop messing around, but to wait a while longer for Goku for the fight to really start. After Goku is revived, he first goes to Karin tower to pick up some Senzu beans and takes off in his "Flying Nimbus". Gohan gets extremely angry after Nappa knocks Piccolo unconcious in an attempt to grab his tail, which is supposed to be a Saiya-Jin's weak spot, but Nappa had over come that already. Gohan attacks Nappa, but does no real damage. Then Krillin attacks too, and too has no real damage. Nappa gets angry and sends a powerful attack towards Gohan, but is blocked by Piccolo, and so Piccolo dies.
Goku finally arrives with a power level of 5,500 and increasing. He comes to find out that all of the Z warriors, except for Krillin and Gohan had died and attacks Nappa. Nappa is astonished at Goku's power. Vegeta then says that he will personally kill Goku and so Nappa goes towards Krillin and Gohan. Goku does the Kaioh-ken which leaves Nappa on the floor. Nappa asks Vegeta for help, but Vegeta kills him in cold blood for being weak. The fight between Goku and Vegeta begins, Vegeta is then astonished at Goku's power. Since this proves to be a hard match for Vegeta, he decides to turn into Oozaru. Goku decides to do the Spirit bomb, but he needs time to do this. So he does the "Solar flare" to blind Vegeta for a little while. But Vegeta is too quick and tortures Goku up to the point where he is almost dead. Yajirobe, which had been in hiding all along comes out of no where and cuts off Vegeta's tail, so now Vegeta goes back to his normal size. Gohan steps into the fight now although he knows he is no match for Vegeta.
Goku, now badly hurt, calls Krillin and tells him to do the Spirit Bomb for him (Goku had still been collecting energy during this time). Krillin gets the energy and waits for just the right moment to use it. Krillin fires it, but misses, Gohan gets it back and throws it again and this time hits Vegeta. This sends Vegeta through the air, but is not defeated yet. Since Vegeta had made an artificial moon to turn into Oozaru, Gohan happens to look at it and then too transforms into Oozaru. Now the tables have turned. Gohan, as Oozaru, lands on Vegeta and is now defeated. Krillin, now really weak, finds his last strength to finish Vegeta off by killing him with Yajirobe's sword, but Goku decides not to kill Vegeta and lets him go. Vegeta leaves swearing vengence.

On Planet Namek there are villages. In each village there lives an elder possessing a dragonball. Fully prepared, Bulma sends news to Earth through this portable satellite phone (Master Roshi is on the other end on Earth).
The Freeza Saga
After the fight against Vegeta, Goku is recoperating at the hospital, while Vegeta is going back to Freeza's planet and also recoperating. Mr. Popo comes into the hospital and tell them about some other Dragonballs in Planet Namek, the Porunga dragonballs. Having heard this Bulma, Gohan, and Krillin decide to go to Planet Namek to gather those dragonballs and revive their friends that where lost in the battle against Vegeta and Nappa (Ten, Chauzu, Piccolo, and Yamcha). Along they way, Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan get introduced to many different characters, some minor and some major. They arrive on Namek and come to find that Freeza is there as well (they learned about him through some of the minor characters along their journey). Freeza is also there in search of the Dragonballs, but he wants to wish for immortality. Vegeta arrives on Planet Namek as well, fully recovered from his injuries, and stronger than ever, and also in search of the Dragonballs (he too wants to wish for immortality). Gohan and Krillin curious about how Freeza looks hide and take a look at what they (Freeza and his goons) are up to. Gohan makes a comment that they (the Nameks) all look like Piccolo (Remember: Piccolo first discovers he is a Namek after being told by Vegeta and Nappa). Since Gohan and Krillin where spying on Freeza, they couldn't help but join in and help the Nameks when they were being attacked by Freeza. This is when Gohan meets Dende (a young Namek, Dende and Gohan become great friends), Gohan and Krillin save him. Since Gohan and Krillin where helping the Nameks, Freeza ordered his "left-hand" man, Dodoria, after them. They were too fast for Dodoria and they escape him (this is while they are saving Dende).
After they escape, Dodoria comes upon Vegeta. Dodoria bargains for his life and tells Vegeta the truth of what really happened to Planet Vegeta (when he was younger, Vegeta was told that a comet had hit his planet, Vegeta was away capturing a planet at that moment) (Vegeta is the Prince of Planet Vegeta, his dad was the King). Dodoria tells him (Vegeta) that Freeza was the one who had destroyed it, and Vegeta kills him (Dodoria). Back on Earth Yajirobe arrived at the hospital and visited Goku to give him some senzu beans. Right after eating it Goku was complety recovered and left to visit Dr. Briefs to see if the spaceship was ready (the spaceship that Goku had come to Earth in when he was a baby, Dr. Briefs was working on it to improve it, and added a gravity machine for Goku to train in). Since the spaceship was partially ready (it didn't have the cappuccino maker installed yet), Goku went on his way to Planet Namek. Kaioh telepathically tells Goku that Tien, Chaozu, Yamcha, and Piccolo had arrived and were to receive his (Kaioh's) training. Vegeta decides to get at least one of the Dragonballs, therefore Freeza would not be able to make a wish, since seven dragonballs are needed to call for the dragon. Vegeta is able to steal one of the dragonballs by destoying one of the villages. He hides the dragonball in the lake and comes upon Zarbon, Freeza's "right-hand" man. They fight and Vegeta is defeated and taken back to Freeza. He escapes and steals all of the dragonballs that Frezza had collected. Enraged, Freeza summons the Ginyu Force. During the battle, Krillin and Gohan arrived to Guru's lair to retrieve a dragonball. There, Guru also unleashes the warrior's hidden powers. (Gohan had also used Bulma's dragon-radar to track down a local dragonball- the one that Vegeta had stolen and hidden in the lake.) Vegeta follows Gohan and Krillin while Zarbon follows Vegeta.
All stop at the cave where Bulma created a house. Vegeta becomes aware of Zarbon and the two fight once again. Zarbon is killed. Vegeta meets with Krillin and Gohan and offers to make an alliance with them, as he senses the arrival of the Ginyu Force. The dragonballs are gathered at once as Vegeta prepares to wish for immortality so that he can become powerful enough to defeat the "unbeatable force". They become too late; the force has arrived. Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, Recoome, and Guldo stand before the three. The Ginyu Force quickly steal the dragonballs and Ginyu flies away with them. A huge battle follows. Vegeta manages to kill Guldo, but is of no match for the others...
Goku finally arrives. He quickly beats Jeice, Burter, and Recoome. Vegeta takes this chance and kills off the injured members to Team Ginyu. Vegeta, no longer a threat to the heroes (for now), joins in the battle on Goku's side. Ginyu arrives. Ginyu does his body transfer ability on Goku and he swaps bodies with Goku. Vegeta beats Ginyu (in Goku's body). Ginyu switches bodies again. Goku is badly battered. Ginyu, again, attempts to switch bodies with Goku. Goku throws a frog to intercept the beam, and Ginew permanently swaps bodies with the frog. Goku is taken to recoperate in a stasis pod. Vegeta gave Gohan and Krillin battle armor suits. The dragonballs were gathered and the Porunga Shenron was summoned. Three wishes were granted. The first wish revived Piccolo. The second transported him to Namek to join in the fight.At the third wish, Guru was killed so the dragonballs turned into stone. Now, the heroes must face the wraith of Freeza...
A battle follows. Freeza has killed nearly all the Nameks on the planet, so the Namek dragonballs have also turned to stone. The heroes are able to stand up to Freeza, so Freeza undergoes a power-up and enters a physical body change. As the battle intenses, Freeza does goes through more metamorphosis stages until his perfect form is reached. No one is certain who will win. Vegeta has been killed. The only true damage done to Freeza was with Krillin's Kienzan, which truncated half of Freeza's tail. In a final attempt to defeat Freeza, Goku prepares a Genki Dama. The fireball is cast and everyone thinks that Freeza has lost. However, Freeza survived... Wasting no more time, Freeza does a blast that rips through Piccolo. Then, he engulfs Krillin in a fatal force field and crushes him.
Goku sees the deaths of his friends and remembers all the innocent that Freeza has killed. Anger takes over Goku's body and Goku powers up. His hair turns gold and Goku reaches Super Saiya-Jin level for the first time. Goku tells Gohan that Piccolo is still alive. Gohan takes Piccolo's body back to Goku's spaceship and then finds Bulma in his father's orders to travel back to Earth. Goku now goes on a one-on-one combat battle against Freeza... Goku evades Freeza's attacks. Freeza, trembling in the chance that he may lose to Goku, an "inferior Saiya-Jin monkey", does a fireball aimed at the planet. Namek's core is destroyed, and planet will explode in 5 minutes. Hurricanes form.
Cliffs break off. Rubbish fly everywhere. An ominous look is set on what will happen... Kami telepathically communicates to Kaioh. He tells that he will make a plan with the Earth dragonballs and asks what wish to make. Kaioh develops a plan to wish to revive all those killed by Freeza. In turn, Guru and Dende will be brought back to life and the Namek dragonballs will become available again. Then, the Porunga dragonballs can be used to make a wish to teleport everyone on Earth, except for Freeza, to Earth. Popo has gathered the dragonballs and the first half of the plan is followed. The Porunga Shenlong is summoned and is awaiting to grant the third wish. Freeza sees his chance to be granted immortality and races to the dragon. Vegeta, revived from the wish, also joins in the race. Dende arrives, but Freeza makes his wish first. However, the Porunga Shenlong ignores Freeza and grants Dende's wish, which by Goku's plead was changed to leaving he and Freeza on Namek.
All who were affected by the wish are on Earth. Dende heals Piccolo. Guru, dying, transfers his role to Rooli to become the new Elder so that the Namek dragonballs may "shine again". Guru explains what has happened, and then dies. Goku fights Freeza to a stand-still, but time eventually showed that Freeza was no match for a Super Saiya-Jin. In Freeza's pathetic final attack, two Kienzans are tossed at Goku. With skillful maneuvering by Goku, the Kienzans slice Freeza in two instead. Freeza is dying and pleads for help. Goku gives him a bit of his energy to give Freeza a last chance. Freeza, unwilling to change and lose to a low-class Saiya-Jin, does another fireball at Goku. Goku counters it and it overwhelms Freeza. The 5 minutes are up and Planet Namek explodes.
A spaceship passes by shortly after the destruction of Planet Namek. It's King Cold, the father of Freeza, finds the remains of Freeza's body flowing through space and quickly orders his henchmen to rescue his son.
With the Dragonballs all of the Z fighters that had died in battle were brought back to life and Planet Namek was restored.
Having freed himself from the Dead Zone, Garlic Jr. attacks Kami-sama's lookout with the help of four new underlings, trapping God and his assistant in a bottle. He uses this opportunity to release the Aquamist, a gas that basically turns anyone it reaches into a demon. Meanwhile, Gohan has snuck away from home with Haiya Dragon in order to visit his friends. Krillin has a new girlfriend named Maron, and at the moment are with Bulma, Oolong, and the old man himself at Kame house. The Aquamist reaches the island, transforming them all into demons (With the exception of Krillin and Maron, who were underwater when the mist passed over them). Gohan and his dragon manage to escape the effects as well. Having now reached the island, Gohan finds himself attacked by his friends.
Garlic Jr.'s minions arrive, and inform Gohan of the Super Holy Water, the only thing that can counter the Aquamist. Piccolo comes to Gohan's rescue, but is bitten by one of the demons, and turns against our young hero as well. Upon reaching Kami-sama's tower, Gohan meets Garlic Jr, who tells him how the Makyosei's (a red star) close approach to Earth freed him from the Dead Zone, and makes him stronger by the minute. Garlic Jr. orders his men to focus their attacks on Gohan, because it was him that banished the evil lord to the Dead Zone in Movie 1. (although Kuririn still tries to help Gohan).
Meanwhile, Vegeta is searching for Goku in deep space, hoping to keep up with his level of strength. Piccolo begins to attack Gohan one on one, and does some serious damage to him. Kuririn, getting in the way of the battle, is bitten by Piccolo, and joins in against Gohan. It is at this moment that Piccolo steals the bottle containing Kami-sama and Popo from Garlic Jr. and releases them. Piccolo explains that since he is already a demon, the aquamist bite had no affect on him. Garlic Jr. becomes enraged, and the Makyosei approaches its apogee to Earth.
Knowing that there is no way to release the Super Holy Water before daybreak, Popo suggests that it be poured into the holes beneath Kami's palace where the winds would carry it around the world. However, on the way to this place rests the bodies of all the previous Kamis, known as the Shinsenkai. Any living Kami that attempts to pass through this area is in great danger. As the battle with Garlic Jr. and his minions continues on the surface, Kami is attacked by the previous gods, who drain his life force. Since Piccolo and Kami-sama are still spirtually linked, Piccolo begins to suffer in his battle. Despite the incredible amount of pain, Kami and Popo press on, finally reaching the bottom of the palace.
With the dead gods busy attacking Kami, Popo manages to release the Super Holy Water, returning the Earth's population to normal. Back on the surface, Gohan, Kuririn, and Piccolo continue to do battle with Garlic Jr, who becomes stronger every second. Gohan bores a hole into Garlic Jr.'s abdomen, but due to his wish of immortality, is resurrected on the spot. Finding out that the Aquamist has been countered by Kami, Garlic Jr. creates a new Dead Zone, hoping to suck the entire palace from its foundation. Gohan creates an energy shield around himself and his friends so that they will not be absorbed into the tear, but uses much of his energy maintaining it.
Piccolo distracts Garlic Jr, allowing Gohan to destroy the Makyosei. With the evil star now gone, Garlic Jr. loses all of his power, and falls into the Dead Zone once again. With Garlic Jr. gone and peace once again restored, the Z warriors wonder where Goku could possibly be...
(This following selection actually is concidered the Cell saga, but I thought it was more appropriate if it went here)
Freeza is literally rebuilt, as he becomes half robotic. Now, father and son plan to land on Earth to get revenge of what happened... The ship lands on Earth. The Z warriors on Earth are no match for Freeza, and now they must face him in addition to King Cold... without the help of Goku, to which all believed was dead. Cold and Freeza believe in swift victory in the destruction of Earth, but a figure appears out of nowhere. Vegeta recognizes the aura of the man to be that of a Saiya-Jin, and resents the fact that there is another stronger than him. The mysterious visitor charges up and reaches Super Saiya-Jin level. With a few slashes with his sword, Freeza is truly killed. Then, the figure shoots a fireball at Cold, which pierches through his heart and automatically kills him. The stranger introduces himself as Trunks, the future son of Bulma and Vegeta.
His story is told in Trunks Story. He tells that Goku is not dead, but escaped to Planet Yardat when Planet Namek exploded. Then, he tells that Goku should appear in a few seconds. The Z warriors are shocked, and Goku does appear. He really did take refuge in Yardat and learned how to teleport from its inhabitants. Then, Trunks introduces his purpose to seeking Goku and the cast, and this leads to the Cell Series... Once again the Earth was safe, but not for long.
The Cell Saga
It is now 3 years after the arrival of the mysterious boy. He had told Goku that they were supposed to train for the arrival of two strong beings, andriods, created by Dr. Gero. They did as the mysterious boy told them, they trained hard for three years. They waited for the arrival of the two andriods in the place that they were said to be, and there they meet Android #19 and Android #20. Android #19 is the last of a series of creations to destroy Goku. Along with the scheme, Dr. Gero requests Android #19 to make him (Dr. Gero) into a cyborg so that he would become stronger, and so Dr. Gero is transformed to Android #20. The Z Warriors meet with Androids #19 and #20 and the two sides engage in battle. Goku leaves the battle because of his heart disease and leaves the battle to Vegeta. The android is destroyed and Dr. Gero is shattered. Despite the grave defeat, Dr. Gero's cybernetic programming enables him to self-repair, so that he may live to fight again.
Android #20 then works on developing a better android model. Meanwhile, he unleashes two of his other creations, Android #17 and Android #18. Androids #17 and #18 get annoyed of Dr. Gero. As a result, Android #17 kills Dr. Gero. Android #17 and Android #18 leave the lab and unleash Android #16. But as it turns out, Android #16 is a peaceful android. (This can be shown through his love towards the wild animals.) As time passes, the Z Warriors become aware of the new androids as they battle again and again but always reach a stalemate. However, the Z Warriors are still not match for the androids because the androids are robots, and therefore do not tire in a long battle while the Z Warriors eventually run out of energy. Goku suffers a heart attack in one battle and retreats. Trunks, who was sent back in time by future Bulma with medicine to heal Goku's heart so that Goku would live to kill the androids and thus change the future, gives Goku the medicine. Goku is saved, but the Saiyan-Jins still do not continue to fight the androids. Instead, they train in a chamber to get stronger. Meanwhile, Piccolo fuses with Kami, his half father, to become stronger (His story is told in the Dragonball series.)
We then learn about Cell, a creation made by Dr. Gero's computer, it's not really an androide, because he's made of Cells from all the Z warriors. In one of the the futures, all created by the Time Travel machine, Trunks has stopped the androids using the emergency stop device, so Cell, who needs the androids to become perfect, can't find them, so he kills Trunks and use the Time Travel Machine to come in our present. But he needs to make a reverse mutation to be able to enter the time travel machine, so when he arrives on earth, he needs to transform again, and it takes him many years, then, he devours the souls of the unlucky civilians he passes to become stronger.
Dende, a Namek child, replaces Kami as guardian of the dragonballs. Androids #16, #17, and #18 go to seek Goku to destroy him. Piccolo finds the androids first and begins to fight them. Cell is able to feel piccolo's Ki, so, he flies to find Androids #17 and #18. Finally, he meets with the other androids. To our heroes' surprise, they learn that Androids #17 and #18 know nothing about Cell. Cell and Android #17 threaten to kill each other. Android #17 heads out to fight him. But, he does not stand up to Cell and is easily defeated. This is when our heroes learn the great powers of Cell. Android #18 is now worried, but Android #16 flies out to fight Cell. To everybody's amazement, Android #16 is able to stand up to Cell. However, he is still destroyed. Cell now heads for his goal and devours Android #17 with his tail. Cell now changes into Cell--form 2. With the power of Android #17 combined to his, he becomes stronger than ever. Then, Vegeta comes out of the time and spirit room, and fight Cell, but he thinks that Cell isn't strong enough, so he lets him absorb #18.
Cell now changes into Cell form 3, and becomes "Perfect Cell", and he's now stronger than Vegeta so Cell beats him up a little. Then Trunks take his turn but he isn't as strong as Cell. Cell leaves, and tell them about the Cell Game, a tournament he wants to organise to see if people can be stronger than him. After Cell is gone, Bulma collects the body parts of Android #16 and repairs him. Android 16 is re-programmed to fight on the Z Warriors' side. Our heroes now head out to the Cell Game. Mr. Satan attempts to fight to fight Cell, claiming to be the strongest man in the world, but does no damage to Cell. It is now Goku's turn to do battle with Cell. A battle that is so fast, that a regular person cannot see it with the naked eye. At first, the two just play around and give the other hopes, but later on, they fight for real and this proves to be a very hard battle. Goku does a Kamehameha to Cell that blows away his head and arms, but Cell, with Piccolo's power is able to grow out a new one. After this things look bad for Goku, and so he gives up and tells his son, Gohan to fight instead. Gohan does as his father tells him, but is still not fighting with his maximum power. Cell tries to make Gohan angry so he can release his powers by expelling from his body 7 Cell Juniors, miniature blue duplicates of Cell. These Cell Juniors are beating up all of Goku's friends while he is just watching everything. Android 16 tries to destory Cell by self destructing, but Bulma had taken away the bomb inside him and so Cell kills him.
After he is dead his head is still able to talk. And so Android 16 asks Mr. Satan to throw his head towards Gohan so he can talk to him and so he does (this is the only real thing that Mr. Satan does in this tournament). When Android 16's head arrives at Gohan's feet, he talks to him and tells him that some people will never understand with words, and to let out all of his hidden powers. At this Cell walks towards Gohan and steps on Android 16's head, which finally kills him. The death of Android 16 triggers his anger, an enraged teenage Gohan powers up and reaches Super Saiya-Jin level 2. Gohan then destroys all the Cell Juniors and fights Cell easily, while not even Goku was able to keep up with them (The Cell Jrs.).
In a following battle, Cell is kicked and Android #18 is spit back out. (She is unconscious.) Cell turns back into form 2 and is defeated. But, he activates his self destruction mode so that when he dies, the world will blow up with him. To save the Earth, Goku teleports Cell out of Earth and into Kaioh's planet, where Cell blows up. Thus, Goku, Kaioh, Bubbles, and Gregory die as well. The Z Warriors mourn the loss of Goku, but cheer at the victory over Cell at the same time. A fireball flies out of nowhere and pierces through Trunks. Upon Trunks' death, Cell, in form 3, appears. He tells that when he blew up, a brain cell survived. From the cell, other cells multiplied and he was once again formed. Cell happily laughs as he tells that he is amazed he is able to rebuild himself into form 3!
Then, Cell threatens to destroy the earth. Now it is up to Gohan to try to save our planet. With one arm (the other injured when he went to let a fireball meant for Vegeta hit him), Cell prepares a fireball. He fires at Gohan but Gohsn is not able to fire back. A stalemate is meant, but with Kaioh's help, Goku is able to talk to Gohan and encourages him. So Gohan finally fires back. Meanwhile, Krillin protects the unconscious Android #18 and Yamcha, Tien, and Vegeta attack Cell in hope that this will distract Cell. With the help of the now dead Kaioh, Goku, also dead, is able to communicate with Gohan and encourages him to use all his power to defeat Cell. Gohan overpowers Cell and Cell is disintegrated by Gohan's fireball. (But, Satan takes credit for Cell's death because of his lies to the reporters.)
At the end, the warriors gather the dragonballs to bring those killed by Cell back to life. However, Goku is still dead because he was already brought back to life once and cannot come back again, but tells that he is okay and is now with Kaioh. Android #16 can't be revived because he was a robot. Android #18 awakens and flees. However, everybody learns here that Krillin has developed a crush on Android #18! At the end of this series, there is a short memorial about the life of Goku. And there is peace on Earth.
The Majin Boo Saga
Seven years have passed since the Cell game. Gohan starts attending Orange Star High School in Satan City (yes, they named the city after Mr. Satan). There he meets Mr. Satan's daughter Videl. She is a crime fighter and is always there when something bad happens in Satan City. Gohan had gone to Satan City a couple before he started school, and each time he went he had to save the city from some criminals. Instead of having everyone find out who he was he would turn into a super saiyan and so he got the name of "The Golden Warrior". Videl arrives to the crime scene late and a man that saw the whole thing tells Videl that the person who saved the city was a young man with blonde hair, the school emblem, white shirt, black vest, and orange pants. So Videl goes to school and asks the guys with blonde hair if it was them. Then she accuses Gohan that it is him because he was wearing what the man had described, but he reminds her that he doesn't have blonde hair. She then tells him that she was wrong about him and that she didn't mean to accuse him, but she still has a suspicion because she remembers seeing some men that were able to turn their hair blonde during the Cell tournament from some of her dad's old tapes, but her dad had told her it was just a dumb trick and so she forgets the idea.
Since Gohan finds out that she is going to discover him he goes to Bulma to ask her to make him something. She does and he is now the Great Saiyaman. In his disguise he saves a lot of people and now Videl wants to find out who the Great Saiyaman is because he saves her two times. She finally does find out Gohan's secret, by a scar that Gohan had on his face, and begs him to teach her how to fly. She also makes Gohan join the Tenkaichi Budokai so that they can fight against each other in the final, and so he finally agrees. About this time Gohan goes to Capsule Corp and asks Bulma to make him something else for his head so that he will be able to fight in the tournament, because the helmet he had now was not allowed. When Vegeta hears that Gohan was joining the tournament he tells Gohan that he too will enter because he wanted to see if he was now stronger than Gohan. A voice comes out of nowhere and says that he too is joining the tournament. It's Goku! Goku tells them that he will be granted one day to fight in the tournament and so Gohan goes and tells the other Z warriors.
Krillin was living with Kame-sennin along with his wife #18 and his daughter Marron. When #18 finds out that the tournament winner would recieve one million dollars, she insists on joining and starts training right away. Piccolo is living with Dende at the Kami-tower along with Mr. Popo and says that he too will join. During the meantime, Goku starts to train in heaven. Gohan goes home and tells his mom and we find out that Chi-Chi has a second son named Goten that was born a couple of months after the Cell tournament. Gohan tells his mother that Goku will be coming and she gets so happy and is even happier because she will win a lot of money because she says that Goku and Gohan are sure to win first and second place. She allows Gohan to miss school to train and so Gohan begins his training. Goten tags along and when Gohan asks him to help him he shows Gohan that he too can turn Super Saiya-Jin. Gohan is so surprised and happy. He didn't think that Goten could turn Super Saiya-Jin at such an early age. So now Gohan trains with Goten, but there is a problem. Goten does not know how to fly. Being a nice brother, Gohan tells Goten that he will teach him to fly. At this moment, Videl comes in and reminds Gohan that he promised her that he would teach her to fly. So the next day they start their flying lessons. Goten gets it right away and Videl learns a little while afterwards. At the same time Vegeta too trains in the time room with Trunks. He was training under a lot of gravity and it was too much for Trunks. Vegeta asks him to leave because he would only get hurt, but then Trunks turns Super Saiya-Jin and starts running all over the place. Vegeta is very surprised and finds out that Goten too can turn Super Saiya-Jin.
The day of the tournmanent finally arrives, and of course, so does Goku. The children's tournament begins first. Goten gets runner-up and Trunks wins. Being the winner, Trunks gets to fight against Mr. Satan. With one simple punch, Trunks wins, and Mr. Satan says he "let" Trunks win. When the tournament for the adults is about to begin, two strange men appear before Goku, and both of them are finalists in the tournament. The first fight is between Krillin and Punter, and of course Krillin wins. The next fight is between Piccolo and Kaioh-shin, and for some odd reason, Piccolo refuses to fight him because of the major difference in "dimensions". After the fight Piccolo asks Kaioh-shin if he is the Dai Kaioh-sama, but Kaioh-shin tells Piccolo that he is not, that he is the Supreme Kaioh-Sama: the Kaioh-Shin, which is the God that the Kaiohs and the Dai Kaioh-sama worship.
At this Piccolo is very astonished, but promises not to tell anyone. The next fight is between Videl and Supopobichi, Supopobichi wins. It's Gohan's turn to fight next and it is against Kibito. Kibito asks him if he would turn Super Saiya-Jin for him, and so he does. This moment, two men with "M"'s on their foreheads, named Supopobichi and Yamu, steal Gohan's energy. The two run away and head toward a space ship. While Gohan is still unconscious, Kaioh-shin follows the two men and then so does Vegeta, Goku, Krillin, and Piccolo (just a few moments before, Piccolo told them who Kaioh-shin was). Before they leave, Kibito reassures Goku that he will heal Gohan, and so Goku leaves Gohan to Kibito. Kibito does exactly what he said, he gives Gohan's energy back, even a little more than what he had before. While Goku and the others are following Kaioh-shin, Kaioh-shin tells them about the story of Majin Boo and Babidi. How Babidi's father, Bibidi, had killed the other Kaioh-shin. How Bibidi was killed and how Boo got trapped in an egg. After Gohan gets his powers back, him, Videl, and Kibito try to catch up with the others. While at the same time Kibito is telling them the same story. Since most of the participants left, and the tournament must go on, some fights continue and we get to the finals. It is between Number 18 and Mighty Mask (which is Goten and Trunks in disguise), to see who gets to fight the almighty Mr. Satan. # 18 figures out who Mighty Mask is and so Mighty Mask is disqualified. # 18 is up to fight Mr. Satan. Mr. Satan is very scared of her because he saw the fight against Mighty Mask and knew what she could do. So # 18 takes advantage and tells him that she will let him win if he gives her 2 million dollars (remember, the prize was one million) and so Mr. Satan accepts and he wins the tournament.
At the same time, Goku and the rest enter the ship, while Piccolo and Krillin stay outside because they were turned into stone by Darbura's spit. As they enter different stages they have to pass some obstacles, like fighting some bad guys, but of course the warriors win all of them. But then it's Gohan's turn to fight (he had not trained at all) and he is up to fight Darbura (Babidi's main guy). The fight seems pretty even and is barely starting. Darbura stops fighting and reports to Babidi. He tells him that he has a plan. Since he had felt that Vegeta was evil (he kept screaming at Gohan and Goku), he wanted for him to be on their side. And so Babidi posses Vegeta and he becomes Majin Vegeta (with an "M" on his forehead).
All Majin Vegeta wants to do is fight against Kakarotto (Goku). They are transported onto the tournament (the final battle had just finished) and Vegeta blows up 2 sections of it, killing a lot of innocent by standers. This upsets Goku very much and finally agrees to fight him. In this conversation with Vegeta, Goku discovers that he let himself be possed by Babidi on purpose, because this was the only way to get Goku to fight against him because he (Goku) had only one day of life on Earth. In order for no more people to be killed, they are transported to another place where there are no people and so the fight begins there. While Gohan and Kaioh-shin enter Babidi's ship. The intense fighting between Vegeta and Goku gives Boo enough energy to be revived.
So Boo finally wakes up and now Vegeta finally realizes good always triumphs over evil and self destructs in hope to kill Boo. Goku then heads to battle against Boo, Goku turns SSJ2, then SSJ3 but he still can't defeat Boo. Gohan heads to the Kaioh-shin's planet for training. Later, Boo kills Babidi, and even become friend with Mr. Satan, but then Mr. Satan is nearly killed by a man, so Boo becomes very angry and smoke is coming out of his body, this smoke becomes Evil Boo, and Evil boo absorb the now Good Boo, to become Super Boo. Before Goku's time is up on Earth he teaches Goten and Trunks the fusion technique, then they get trained by Picollo so they can be strong enougth to beat Super Boo.
Soon after Goten and Trunks fuse to become Gotenks, later Gotenks turns SSJ1 and SSJ3 in the room of time and spirit. Super Boo comes to Dende's Palace. Gotenks is nearly defeating Super Boo, but the fusion stops, but Gohan comes, after his training at Kaioh-shin Kai (He trained with the Z-sword and then broke it, so, Dai Kaioh-Shin was freed. Dai Kaioh-Shin awakened his hidden powers, so he doesn't have to turn SSJ anymore, he became "Mystic Gohan") Gohan fights Boo, and he's a lot stronger, so Boo use a trick and hide during about one hour, then he appears again and ask Goten and Trunks to fuse again, they fell in the Trick and Boo absorb Gotenks and Piccolo, So, Gohan isn't as strong as Boo any more. Dai Kaioh-shin sacrifices his life so Goku can live. Goku, now alive, teleports to the battle. Soon after King Yama grants Vegeta one day on earth to fight Buu. When Goku arrives to the scene he tells Gohan to fuse with him, Goku then throws a fusion earring at Gohan. Gohan drops the earring and Boo absorbs Gohan.
Then Vegeta comes to the scene, Vegeta fuses with Goku to become Vegetto. Vegetto defeats Boo, but lets himself get absorbed to rescue their friends (this wears the fusion off). They rescue Goten, Gohan, Trunks, and Piccolo through Boo's pores. All of the energy that Boo has taken, restores him back to his normal form, then Boo destroys the Earth. Kaioh-Shin teleports to help Goku teleport Vegeta, Satan and Dende to Kaioh-Shin Kai. But Trunks, Goten and Piccolo die when the earth explode. Boo survived the explosion of the earth and comes to Kaioh-Shin Kai, sensing Goku and Vegeta's energy. Goku and Boo start to fight, Goku starts to get beaten up badly. Vegeta jumps into the battle so Goku can create a Genki-Dama. The Namek DragonBalls are gathered to wish back the Earth and to wish back everyone killed by Boo. The third wish is stored for later use. Goku ask the now alive earthlings to give their energy to kill Boo, but most of them (exept Goku's friends) don't agree to give their energy till Mr. Satan order them to raise their hands.(He's still on Kaioh-Shin Kai too!!)
The Genki-Dama is ready, Goku throws it and Boo pushes it back. Vegeta tells Dende to wish all of Goku's strength back. Now with all his strength restored, Goku throws back the Genki-Dama at Boo. Boo can't counter so he is killed. Just before he dies, Goku ask Boo to become good and to come to fight with him. Ten years after the battle aganist Boo, Boo is reincarnated into an evil cleansed form called Oob. Goku decides to train him since he has great potential. Gohan and Videl get married and have a daughter named Pan. This is the end of Dragonball Z.
