Dragonball Races: Nameks
The Nameks:
The Nameks are split into two different groups, healers and the warriors. Healers do just that but can't fight. Warriors fight but cannot heal. Dende is a healer and Piccolo is a warrior. There are no female Nameks. When Nameks merge only one of the two will live, the one remaining gets knowledge, some of the person's characteristics, and spirit energy. Nameks have the ability to regenerate a limb when lost in battle. Both Nail and Piccolo demonstrate this during DBZ. With the proper training they are able to spit in two, separating the good in them from the evil. If one is to die both will die. Kami didn't die because just before Daimoa died he created Piccolo which held they're spirit bond together.
