TIGER ALI SINGH BACK WITH HIGH GOALS

The unmistakable gold-plated walls, crystal chandeliers, and soft red and pink rose pedals had the Nassau Coliseum resembling the Taj Mahal. The whiny guitar riffs that filled the normally rustic Coliseum air added to the ambiance, which could only mean one thing: Tiger Ali Singh and his fortune and glory had returned to the World Wrestling Federation.I slowly and nervously approached the golden throne, of course walking on a red carpet. There he sat before me, being fed fresh hand-picked grapes from one scantily clad young woman while another kept him comfortable with a feather fan. After bowing - not by choice - and introducing myself, I began our conversation by asking how he once again became involved with the World Wrestling Federation after a lengthy time off. “First of all, you’re supposed to address me as Mr. Ali Singh,” he said with an insolent tone like I was better served as a landscaper working on his private courtyard. I apologized, and was, for lack of a better word, rewarded with Tiger’s words of wisdom on his time spent away from a Federation ring and what he has in store over the next couple of months.

WWF.com: Mr. Ali Singh. How did you spend your time off and eventually work your way back to the WWF?

Tiger: Well, obviously that’s no one else’s business but my own business. But I know there’s millions and millions of fans out there wondering and were praying for the return of Tiger Ali Singh.Basically what I was doing was taking care of my investments that were sorely neglected while I was in the WWF. Everyone knows all around the world that I have more money and I have interest growing on my money that I can burn. So, after taking a year, year-and-a-half off to take a look, contemplate and make sure all my finances were in order, I took a look at the wrestling scene once again. And without a shadow of a doubt, I saw it was neglecting in my superior talent. So that’s the reason I came back to the WWF, to show the supremacy of MY Asian race, my Asian culture, and basically in a nutshell, wrestling was originated out of my homeland of India. If you look in the history books, obviously that takes education, something that Americans are lacking far too much of, basically wrestling came from India. I have returned to take the WWF title back to India.

WWF.com: Mr. Ali Singh, before you left, what goals did you have the first time you were here, what do you feel you accomplished and how do you look back on your time spent here as well as your future?

Tiger: Basically, in a nutshell, the first goal that I had was through the WWF’s great marketing capabilities is to make Tiger Ali Singh a household name. That was accomplished. No one remembers me from wrestling. They all remember me buying out these little, peasant Americans for the all mighty dollar. I always said it before and I’ll say it again, there’s no limit to how low an American will go for money.I proved that. After a year-and-a-half off, people are still wanting Tiger. Tiger’s money. Now what I’m setting my eyes out for is recruiting those other superior talents that have been held back in the WWF. Giving them an opportunity, through MY money, not the WWF creative money, to get gold around Tiger’s waist.

WWF.com: Is there anybody in particular that you’re targeting?

Tiger: Obviously that’s high, corporate secrets, something that I can’t devulge to an American peasant like yourself. But I will let you know one thing: it is superior talent that has been overlooked by the politics of the WWF. And if YOU cannot put that together with your peasant brain, than the royal one has nothing else to say.

WWF.com: One last question for you, Mr. Ali Singh, if you don’t mind.

Tiger: Obviously I do mind, taking a look at how sorrowly dressed you are, I know these types of interviews are gonna put some money in your pocket, so I’ll give you one last chance. Make sure it’s a good one.

WWF.com: I sure will. How do you compare the World Wrestling Federation now to your first time here?

Tiger: Far more superior talent, a lot more fast paced and the attitude. That’s what’s changed and since I’ve been away, the WWF has raised it to the next level. I was about controversy. You’ve got guys here 290, 300, 400 pounds doing these acrobatical stunts that even a mere… how much do you weigh?

WWF.com: About 150-155.

Tiger: Exactly.A mere 150-pound American peasant like yourself couldn’t ever do. I’ve got more talent in my little royal pinky than you have in your 150-pound body.

WWF.com: Mr. Ali Singh, thank you for your time. I wish you the best of luck here.

Tiger: Obviously, once again, the pleasure was all yours, not mine.
