DECEMBER 24
• Opening Segment: York & Matthews, Simon & Swinger, DUDLEY BOYZ
The show started with Joey Styles and Joel Gertner in the ring embracing the ECW crowd's chants. Joey Styles then introduced their first guests, Joey Matthews and Christian York. York & Matthews made their entrances and Joey Styles asked Joey Matthews about his injured arm. However, before he could give an answer, Simon Diamond's theme hit, and out came Simon, Swinger, CW, and... Dawn Marie, sporting a nice little Christmas outfit. Simon: "Queens, New York! Simon... and Swinger... and CW... and Dawn Marie (crowd pops)... have a problem!" However, Christian York interrupted him, saying "The only problem Dawn Marie has is she---" This was censored, unfortunately. Simon Diamond took the mic and them that they weren't looking for trouble, but York and Matthews said they were, and attacked the heels. However, York & Matthews were quickly destroyed until Tommy Dreamer came out. However, Dreamer was hit with an Anderson Spinebuster for his troubles. Suddenly, Joey Styles shouts, "It's the Dudley Boyz! The Dudley Boyz are back in ECW!!!" The Dudleys ran out to a HUGE pop from the NY crowd. They cleaned house, while Tommy Dreamer grabbed Dawn Marie for a Piledriver. However, he changed his mind and handed Dawn Marie to Buh Buh Ray, who bodyslammed her as D-Von climbed the top turnbuckle. "Wassup!?" Unfortunately, the Wassup drop on Dawn Marie was censored by the MSG Network here in New York. While D-Von came down, the MSG Network logo aired on screen. The crowd popped, the picture came back, D-Von did his dance, and the Dudleys were back in ECW.
• Match #1: Rhino vs. Little Spike Dudley - Television Title
Rhino made his entrance first, followed by Little Spike Dudley, who was pretty over with the crowd. Spike Dudley quickly mounted some offense on Rhino, hitting several hiptosses and neckbreakers. However, Rhino eventually gained total control of the match and at one point, signaled that he would throw Spike into the crowd. The crowd chanted "Over here! Over here!" while Rhino pointed around the building. However, as Rhino picked up Spike to launch him, Spike reversed and attempted the Acid Drop. However, it was reversed, Rhino picked up Spike, and launched him into the third row. Rhino followed Spike and both men battled through the crowd, until Rhino set up a table at ringside. He picked up Spike on the apron and sent him crashing through the table to the floor with a Piledriver! He rolled Spike into the ring and went for the pin, but Spike kicked out! However, a frustrated Rhino dragged Spike back up and hit him with another Piledriver. Two piledrivers were enough this time, as Rhino picked up the pinfall.
Winner: Rhino
• Match #2: Chilly Willy vs. Mike Bell
"Everybody's Favorite Homeboy," Chilly Willy entered the ring to DMX's "Party Up" to take on ECW newcomer Mike Bell. Bell hit a few offensive moves in this match, including a bridging fallaway slam, but Chilly Willy eventually regained control and hit the "Butt Butt" on Bell, then followed up with a Falcon Arrow for the win in a very quick match.
Winner: Chilly Willy
• During the previous match, Joey Styles announced that Joel Gertner was backstage with the Dudleys and reunited with them. Great. Maybe they should have shown it on TV.
• Backstage Promo: Danny Doring & Roadkill
Backstage, Danny Doring, with Roadkill at his side, gave an emotional interview about his career and everything he's had to work for along the way. Word for word, since my typing skills are cool like that: "You know, when Roadkill and I first graduated the ECW House of Hardcore, we thought we would be on easy street. We thought we were already big superstars. We had no idea. We worked as a ringcrew, traveled all around, rarely got any matches. And when we did, we were thrown to the lions. Roadkill had a match in front of his family and was dropped on his neck, put in a coma. He was out for a long time. But you wouldn't read about that on the Internet because we weren't important enough for you to report about. In my hometown, in front of my friends and family, I was ringing the bell. I had to deal with the people saying 'Danny, you're just a bellringer.' When I was in the hospital, nobody was there. But Roadkill was. That's when it started to happen. I realize that I want to do this more than anything in the world. I wanted to do it with Roadkill because we were there for each other. All those promoters, everybody along the way... thank you. Because you feuled our fire. These belts, we worked our asses off for these. For Perry Saturn and Taz who helped us at the House of Hardcore, thank you. For Tommy and Paul for letting us run with the ball, thank you. To Roadkill's family, thank you. Most importantly, two years ago at the ECW Arena, I found out that my mother had a stroke. She didn't make it to see this. I wanted her to see me and my friend make something of ourselves in this business. Mom, we did it. Roadkill did it. We did it. Thank you. At the last PPV, we walked in the number one contendors, and we walked out..." Roadkill: "CHAMPIONS."
• Match #3: The FBI vs. Mikey & Tajiri
In the main event, Mikey Whipwreck and Yoshihiro Tajiri, along with the Sinister Minister, took on the Full Blooded Italians, Guido Maritato and Tony Mamaluke, who were accompanied by Big Sal E. Graziano. This was yet another classic match by these two great teams. The Sinister Minister got involved in the match, locking on a testicular claw while Tony Mamaluke was hung in the Tree of Woe. While Mikey took on Mamaluke, Tajiri shouted, "Let me try something new!" Joey: "Tajiri speaks English?!" Tajiri was tagged in and locked on a very... new submission move. Joey Styles: "Locked in the Tajiri Pretzel... we'll call it that until I find a better name." Big Sal interfered in the match, going to work on Mikey Whipwreck when he was knocked to the outside. The FBI double teamed Mikey until he fought back with a Double Whippersnapper. Mikey made the tag to Tajiri, who entered and cleaned house with several stiff kicks to the head for both members of the FBI. Mikey & Tajiri cleaned house on Guido, hitting a double Brainbuster. However, as Mikey & Tajiri had the match won, Big Sal broke up the pin. On the outside, Big Sal tripped up Mikey Whipwreck, leaving him on the floor. Back in the ring, Guido hit the Kiss of Death on Tajiri for the 1-2-3.
Winners: Full Blooded Italians
