DECEMBER 29 Well everybody, sorry about the mix up last week. My contact at WWF.com went out of town for the holidays and I didn’t realize it, so when I sent the article in, it wasn’t put online. So here it is, plus a little more ...He’s back!!! It seems just when you thought Vince was heading one way, he always seems to throw us a swerve. Everyone thought, including myself, that Vince was just on another tirade over the last couple of weeks when in fact, in a calculated manner, he was setting us all up for the big blow. That being by bringing Linda into a very unstable state which allowed him to take back the control which he had lost from his wife many months ago. Of course his scheming young daughter played a big part in helping this come about. It seems that no matter what this family does it always dumps on Linda. Why is it always the mother that has to support the way of the family? Especially with the weight of the overbearing egos of the McMahon family -- POOR LINDA. She should have had a breakdown a long time ago! My question is where is Shane and what is his role in this set up? He hasn’t shown his face in a while, while both Vince and Stephanie have been in the spotlight quite a bit. Could he be waiting in the shadows for his chance to come out and once again try to seize control or is he just a Momma’s Boy? I guess we will have to wait and see. However, I don’t think we will have to wait to long to find out. I am looking forward to seeing how our ex-commissioner, Mick Foley, handles the cards that have been dealt to him. His hand consisted of a Royal Screw Job, courtesy of the McMahons. I’m still rooting for the match between Mick and Vince! Anyway, on my side of the table, as usual it has been another entertaining week. I am still waiting to have my elevator fully installed. Doorways were cut out of the walls about a month ago leading to the outside, but as these are only covered with a large piece of drywall, we have been heating the outside that entire time! The other day we received our gas bill in the mail and we were surprised to see that it tripled over last months, so I am sure the animals outside were very thankful! Hopefully they will find time in their busy schedule to get this thing completed so my wife and I can actually move into our bedroom and out of the living room. On a brighter note I went Wednesday to look at vans for transports. It was an interesting process trying to figure out exactly how much room it would take to get my big ass comfortable inside of it. This too will take a couple of months, but that is to be expected. So, when I do finally get it, it will give me a little more freedom to get around. I’ll let everybody know when it finally comes in. By the way, my wife -- aka the ‘crazy cat lady’ -- is adding another addition to the family. We started out with one stray, Switch, who by the way is 24 pounds now! Then my wife found a kitten on a trip to Hartford for a Federation TV taping and brought her home. Turns out the cat was pregnant! After much urging to wait until we moved into the house, Wishbone (the mama) had three kittens exactly two hours after we moved in: Shadow, Little Foot and Muguai. Now we have Puffy coming to live with us. I actually found her back in 1987 before I headed off to Military Academy and gave her to my parents. My sister and brother-in-law have very bad allergies along with their children and my parents have to give up their cats so everyone can breathe! So we volunteered to add one more cat into our brood. So it stands at six right now, but if I know my wife, it is certainly not the last addition! Luckily we have enough room to do this, and they are very entertaining. I am a dog person at heart, but the cats have helped out greatly with their crazy antics. The holiday times are upon us, and I know all the boys and girls on the road get a nice little break now and have a little time to spend at home. This was always a nice time just to be able to sit back and relax and not have to worry about traveling, or the shows for a week or so. Anyway, I’d like to wish everyone a happy and healthy holidays! Until next time ...I just wanted to add a little more to this week's article, and I’ll catch up and have a brand new article starting after the new year. I was finally able to get the blood work done the other day and I still to this day don’t understand why they feel the need to use a harpoon to take a little bit of blood! They tried a few unsuccessful attempts to get blood out of my arm and I finally suggested my wrist or hand. The nurse said "sounds good to me" and breaks out this needle that was the size of a pin with a little tube attached to it. My question is, why wouldn’t they use that to begin with? Are they trying to scare the blood out of you? The little one worked just fine and I was able to give my precious blood to find out how my liver is doing. By the I way, it took an hour and a half to have the whole thing squared away because of paper work. This is just to have blood taken -- I’m glad I wasn’t dying!!! I had a good Christmas. My wife and I went over to my parents' house on Christmas Eve and had dinner with family. Definitely ate to much though, oh well. Then Christmas day my wife’s parents came into town to see us. It was nice to see them because we haven’t seen them since the summer. On a side note, we wanted to congradulate my wife Julie’s sister Laura on her recent wedding. We wish them all the best. Anyway, we have a storm coming upon us and will probably be here right before New Years. I used to love snow, but it never seemed to snow when I wasn’t hurt, now it won’t stop, go figure! I was very impressed this past week with the amount of action that was taking place during RAW and Smackdown. In past weeks I think we had gotten away from ring action and spent more time on cutting promos, not that the action that did go on wasn’t great, but from talking to some people they were looking forward to seeing more matches. I think they got their wish this week. The one match that I was appalled at was the Too Cool vs. T&A match on Smackdown. I never thought my old partner would sell out to some Skanky, Nasty, Trampy, Trashy, Daddy’s little Ho-But then again he did go to Pitt, so I am sure it is nothing new to him. As a matter of fact, next time I have him over, I have to make sure he doesn’t stomp me in my wheelchair, but considering he has been held back, this is a good opportunity for him to take control of his destiny and show everyone what he can really do. I am looking forward to big things for ‘Head O Plenty’ and I wish him the best of luck in rising up in the ranks. Be good my brother -- I miss you. That’s all for now. Until next year, I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year! |
