This is the World Alexandrite. Simply put a World
with a Gem as its sole. In
the distant past Alexandrite was born of power. As it grew, large
crystal
spires grew. Each crystal drank in what happened around it and fed
it to the
next and so. After eons of gathering information about the world
something
beyond the scope of simple creatures such as us. Some where in a
deep an
cavern a single gemstone had grown, it had been the vessel of all
that
knowledge gathered from the crystals above. Deep inside that gem
a spark
or an Inner Light, gave birth to an entity called a Gemspirit. The
name of this
particular one was Alexandrite and a Gem world was born.

Carnelian IS alive, her people just don't know it.
The people, or beings of lesser fire, who walk her sundered soil
call her Azyrith. In general they do not know of the benifits the
emanate from the rocks and plants around them - they do not experience
the bounty of harvest that is their due or the extended life span
that some, select few, do. The selection isn't based on criteria
though. The Greater Fire is far to busy to deal with picking out
lesser beings to tend to. Instead the selection is one of history
caused by war, greed, avarice, and most imporantly - Betrayal!

Although clouded, it holds treasures within. Looking
closely, the layers are cloudy but begin to swirl before you. Further,
further, and further you peer, as the cloudy grains slowly disperse
and they become more consistent. The clouds become more of a fixture
as heavens spread out into a vastness before you. Slowly a sphere
defines itself amongst others. The sphere contains fires and molten
lava. As the sphere turns, a jagged edge can be seen, and a sea
of blue slowly appears. The sphere rotates slowly revealing it's
contents. Yet again, it changes from a sea of blue to an edge of
browns, greens, greys, and beiges. Then, the sea of colors end in
fire again. This is Jade.

A heart fueled with molten magma, stimulated by a vast elecromagnetic

of rock, and cooled by vast seas of water. With each beat, energies

giving life to the world. Its thoughts and memories stored in the
countless lattices of gems and crystals scattered throughout the
crust of the world. While some gemstones carry little or no trace
of its being, others are a window to the soul of the world. Highest
