Today we sleep until late. No trips to the other pyramids. We stay around and ask at the hotel desk if there is a nice shopping area for buying presents. We are directed to the Bazaar Khan Kalil. She tells us it is a 15 minute walk, but we arrive after 45 minutes. The bazaar consists of hundreds of small streets with thousands of shops. The deeper you get, the more Egyptian the shops become, on the outer it's all for tourists. It's fun strolling around and getting a good bargain for the things we want to buy.

  6 Belly dancing sets! Statues, pens, plates with beautiful prints.. We get it all. Tischa wants her friends to be Arabian princesses, and we get all the necessities. Dresses, bells, bracelets, crowns, veils. This will be a wonderful sight. I smoke a sheesha at a nice bar and drink my last Turkish coffee. Wonderful. We leave for the hotel to get some rest before the flight home.

    We fly at 2.55 AM. At the airport we find out Tischa has no seat. We are parked and wait until we get called again. Everything is all right now and we can check in. We get in front of another row only to get 2 Dutch women complaining I am getting in front of the line before them. Bitchy bitches. Welcome back to Holland. I realize the friendliness of the people in Egypt, and decide I want to come back.
We arrive in Schiphol without any sleep. The train is not going until Leiden so we need to take a bus. It's cold, and we see the water frozen in the canals. Brrr.. Welcome home.
