DVD #12A  Sonny pleads with Lily to stay. Jax returns to PC to find Brenda standing alone in the rain. The two make love back in her room. "You can't live without love" plays as Sonny and Lily return home and Jax and Brenda make love. The next day, Sonny and Lily talk about raising their baby together. Lily phones her father but she can't hear him. She tells her father she will come to PR that night. Sonny and Lily talk about the future Sonny says he will not leave her and they make plans to announce her pregnancy at Luke's. Lily wants to go to Puerto Rico to tell her father in person that she is pregnant. Sonny insists on going with her and they arrange to leave tomorrow.

Jax tells Brenda his ultimatum still stands. She is to marry him or never see him again. Brenda meets Jax at the airport and says she will marry him. At Luke’s, everyone congratulates Sonny and Lily on their news. Sonny and Robin talk about how things with Brenda changed. Jax and Brenda prepare to wed on the boat. S&L talk about naming the baby Stone if it is a boy. Lily says she will drive home and goes to get the car. Mike tells Sonny that he is proud of him. 
 
As J&B toast their marriage, Sonny's car explodes with Lily in it. Sonny screams No! Luke and Mike grab Sonny, holding him back as he tries to go to her. Luke screams that she's gone. Sonny breaks free and starts to run for the car, Jason grabs him and stops him. There is another explosion. Brenda and Jax enjoy their reception and honeymoon on the yacht. Jason tells Robin and Mac about the explosion and they head for Luke’s. The PCPD arrive. Luke takes a devastated Sonny home, but Sonny wants to be alone. Robin sends Jason to make sure Sonny is not alone. An angry Sonny tells him to leave, but Jason insists on staying.

Everyone at Luke’s learns of Lily's death. Luke tells Sonny it wasn't his fault. Lois says someone should call Brenda. J&B bask in their marriage. Laura tries to comfort Sonny. Garcia comes in wanting answers and comes down on Sonny who is in shock. Mac tells him he's out of line. J&B cut the cake. Mac tells Sonny the ambulance is there. Sonny jumps up and Luke says he won't want to see her. Sonny cries. Sonny sees Lily's ghost while Robin tries to comfort him. J&B make love. Luke takes a devastated Sonny home  but Sonny wants to be alone (touching scene). Robin sends Jason to make sure Sonny is not alone. An angry Sonny tells him to leave, but Jason insists on staying. J&B talk.

Jax’s friend, Tao, surprises him and Brenda on the yacht. Jax and his socialite friends throw a party and get to know the new Mrs. Jax. They indulge in some games of chance. 

Jason brings a package to Sonny (the tickets to PR). Sonny yells at him for leaving Robin but Jason won't leave. Sonny Jason tells Sonny he'll stay with him and that it wasn't his fault. Sonny goes upstairs and cries. Next day, Jason insists on accompanying Sonny to his meeting with Rivera. Sonny and Jason go to PR to avenge Lily's death. Rivera has had a stroke since hearing the news about Lily. Sonny accuses Rivera of setting the car bomb for him. Sonny tells Rivera that Lily was pregnant and that Rivera has killed his own daughter and her unborn baby. Sonny gives him a gun and leaves the room. A gunshot is heard as Rivera takes his own life. Rivera's men kiss sonny's ring. Sonny and Jason leave PR. 

Mac questions Sonny about Rivera’s suicide. Mac wants Sonny to keep Jason out of his business for Robin’s sake. Jason defends Sonny. Later, Sonny tries to discourage Jason from working for him but Jason won't hear of it. A delivery comes for Sonny, It's a portrait of Lily. The people of PC come to Lily's funeral. Robin comforts him. When he is alone Sonny talks to Lily's grave. Sonny grieves over Lily's grave saying he would change things if he could. Harry visits Lily’s grave. Sonny knows it was him that was giving information to Rivera. Sonny fires him but lets him live even though he know what he did. Sonny orders Harry to leave town fast.

Jax and Brenda discuss returning to PC and telling people about their wedding. Jax wants to take Brenda to Alaska to meet his family. J&B visit Jax's parents to announce their wedding. Lady Jane wants to make sure Jax did not rush into marriage. Lady Jane is anxious for Brenda to show her what she is made off. They settle on board games. Jax's mother warms up to Brenda. Jax and Brenda are set to head back to PC.

Mike checks in on Sonny, who is taking Lily’s death very hard. Mike wants to help him get rid of Lily's things. They come to blows and Sonny attacks Mike. Mike lets Sonny fight with him to get his anger out. Sonny is haunted by memories of Lily. Sonny is haunted by Lily's piano music. Sonny orders Jason to get the piano he bought for Lily out of the penthouse. Later, he ends up destroying the piano with a fireplace poker. Robin hears the crashing and comes in to help him bandage his injured hand. Robin tries to comfort Sonny. Lois pays Sonny a visit and finds out that Jason is staying with him.

Jax and Brenda return to PC and arrive at the gatehouse. They tell Ned and Lois about their marriage. Lois tells Brenda about Lily’s death. Brenda rushes to Sonny's side and comforts him the way no one else can. She tell him not to blame himself and holds him as he cries (this shows how much Brenda loves Sonny). Jax waits up for Brenda. When she returns, they talk about Sonny. manor. Brenda feels bad about all the times she treated Lily horribly. Jax and Brenda make love. Afterwards, Brenda is curious as to why Jax has not asked her what happened when she saw Sonny. 

Jax proposes to Brenda again for a big wedding. With her Deception contract expiring today, both Katherine and Lucy pay Brenda a visit. Brenda wants more time to decide between the two companies.Kate and Lucy fight over Brenda's modeling status. Robin visits Brenda after she learns that Brenda got married. Brenda and Robin talk about Brenda and Jax's marriage. Robin can't believe it when she knows how much Brenda loved Sonny. Robin questions if she is still in love with Sonny. Robin is skeptical about J&B's relationship. They talk about Lily's death and Sonny's grief.

Rivera’s lawyers pay Sonny a visit with the news that  he has inherited Rivera’s whole estate. Sonny doesn't want it. Sonny visits Lily's grave. Sonny looks at a portrait of Lily and Jason offers to remove it.  The Nurse’s Ball begins.  There is a parade of the guests arriving as Alan sings “Beautiful Girls” to open the show. Lucy gives an AIDS speech. Alan announces the creation of the Stone Cates Memorial Wing. Sonny has donated his inheritance from Rivera to GH, a 30 million dollar endowment. Everyone looks at Sonny, who looks grim. Robin embraces him again. Luke, Robin, Sonny talk about his donation to GH. Jax leaves Brenda to go on a business trip. Robin and Sonny talk about J&B's marriage briefly. Lucy announces that John Hanley (Lee Mathis) has died of AIDS. Janis Ian sings "When Angels Cry". Lots of shots of Robin and Sonny. 

DVD #12B  Jason arrives at the Nurse’s Ball. Mac talks about Stone, and presents Robin with a section of the AIDS quilt in Stone's honor. Robin, the keynote speaker, delivers her speech. When Robin breaks down,  Jason comes to the stage, picks her up, and carries her out.      
 
Back at home, Sonny answers the door to find Brenda there to comfort him. She holds him and encourages him and touches his chest to tell him his heart is beating and he's alive. They're very close and end up kissing. Very steamy. Things progress quickly until Sonny sees her wedding ring and the moment ends awkwardly. Jax comes home and finds Brenda sleeping on the couch. They talk about Robin and snuggle. Scene switches to Sonny who is sitting blank-eyed on the stairs in his penthouse.     
 
Luke's Place on voting day, Sonny and Robin talk about her, the ball, Mac, Jason. She thanks him for his contribution to GH in Stone’s name.  Robin asks Sonny how he is doing? They're so gentle together. Sonny talks to Jason. Sonny is distant and distracted. Alan sees Sonny and Jason talking business and he later blasts Sonny for ruining Jason. Lucy thanks Sonny for his donation. 

Brenda wants to give Jax “the insiders tour” of PC. Jax wants to invite Robin as he knows Brenda misses her. Robin and Brenda talk on the phone. Jax insists they all do something so they go to the beach. Brenda and Robin talk about how nice Jax is. Later at the penthouse, Jax overhears the end of the conversation and thinks Brenda is talking about how great it is when she is with Sonny, when in fact she is talking about Jax. Brenda tells Jax that she has decided to sign with Jax Cosmetics.Jax and Brenda kiss over breakfast. Brenda declines his plans for balloon ride in order to have business meeting with Katherine. Jax and Brenda talk about the day. Jax doesn't trust that her meeting is only business with Katherine.

Mac questions Sonny about the rumor that some outsider is planning to move in on Sonny's business. Mac tells Sonny his grief makes him vulnerable. Jason arrives with a letter from the Kansas City group asking for meeting, they want to take over one of his transportation networks. Sonny and Jason talk about the K.C. threat. Sonny agrees to meet with them. Sonny is angry when Jason overreacts and pulls a gun at the meeting. Sonny explains to Jason about keeping cool. They talk about the KC threat. Meanwhile, the KC rep and Harry Silver talk. Harry is behind the K.C. group takeover.

Sonny and Jason are at the Grill eating. They talk about the threat. Sonny fills Jason in on his plan to trap the leak in his organization. Sonny asks Brenda if she is happy with Jax. Brenda has a photo-shoot for Jax cosmetics. Brenda arrives and Sonny asks her to sit down. Lots of great looks and moments; very sweet and sad on Sonny's part. He encourages her to be happy. Jax sees them through the window and is jealous. Brenda blows off Katherine Bell with gusto.  Jax sees Sonny and fumes as he remembers S&B sitting together at the Outback. Brenda returns all bubbly and with no knowledge of his growing insecurity. They eventually kiss. 

Luke calls Sonny to ask for help in finding the PI Bobbie used, Felix Peyzer. Sonny visits LuLu at the hospital. Sonny tells Luke he's bringing Bobbie's blackmailer to GH so Luke can put on the heat. Sonny and Laura talk about LuLu, Laura is very sweet to Sonny. Sonny offers to be tested for marrow donation, but Simone says he's not a good candidate. Sonny, Luke, and Bobbie put screws to her blackmailer. 

Brenda is at PC Hotel for a photo shoot. She asks Jax to stay and watch. Jason talks to Brenda at the shoot. Sonny comes out and he and Brenda exchange hot looks. S&B talk briefly alone, another great moment! Jax bursts in and has his hands all over Brenda in order to stake his claim, Sonny leaves. Lots of photo shoot stuff. Jax carries Brenda away for a night of romance.

Jason overhears Sonny’s enemies plan for him. The plan goes south and shots are fired. The next morning at the PC Hotel, Sonny is looking for Jason. He and Brenda talk briefly but Jax busts in. Sonny leaves. Sonny phones Robin looking for Jason. Jax is concerned when he sees Brenda taking painkillers for the pain in her hip. She explains that it is pain from her prior car accident. Sonny and Brenda run into each other at Kelly’s. Sonny is still looking for Jason. Brenda is very supportive. Lots of long, intense looks. Brenda breaks the mood because they're getting too intense. Sonny moves toward the door but sees Brenda sway before fainting. He catches her and helps her sit down. Jax sees the whole thing through the window and bursts in yet again. Sonny explains to Jax that Brenda almost fainted. Brenda reassures Jax that her condition is due to an empty stomach and the painkillers. 

Jason contacts Sonny with the KC men on his trail. Jason hides out with Carly. He talks to Sonny about plan. The KC men catch Jason. Sonny sets them up telling them the deal is off. Sonny rescues Jason and then chews him out for not following orders.

L&B and Eddie Maine stuff at Qs. Lois and Brenda sue Eddie. Lois and Brenda talk about Eddie. Lois and Ned have dinner with Jax & Brenda. Ned and Jax talk business. Jax offers Ned a job. 

Sonny visits LuLu in hospital.  Brenda watches through the window. They talk. Brenda asks Sonny to go for a walk. Sonny talks about wanting to be a Cerrillo kid in his childhood. Brenda talks about Lois's baby-to-be. Sonny gets really down about his own lost child. Brenda and Sonny chat and suddenly, there is a loud noise, Sonny dives on top of Brenda, but it's only a car backfire. This shakes them both and she leaves. He envisions himself at his penthouse with Lily and his daughter. He looks sick at heart. Brenda goes home, but thinks about Sonny. 

Jax sees Brenda and wants to talk about Sonny. Brenda tells Jax about her rocky relationship with Sonny. Brenda and Jax talk about Sonny and his grief. Brenda says she loves being open with Jax. Brenda opens a present from London, a book of Shakespeare's Sonnets, which thrills Brenda till she finds out it's from Julia. Jax and Brenda talk about why Brenda dislikes Julia. Jax gets a mysterious phone call and tells the person not to call him there. 

Sonny meets with his accountant. She tells him he will be in deep trouble with IRS if he doesn't get a legitimate business venture immediately. It looks grim, but Sonny doesn't seem to care. Jason is concerned and blasts him for being so morose and fatalistic.  Sonny tells Jason that he will kill himself before he goes to prison. Sonny and Jason talk about Sonny's dangerous life. Sonny says Jason needs to find new work. Sonny and Jason continue talk about dangerous life and horror of prison. Jason remains undeterred.   

Jax and Brenda look at her photos from the shoot. Jax gives Brenda a magic lamp. Brenda gives him a line from a fairy tale and tells him that's her wish. He tries to figure out her clue. Jax and Brenda arrive at the Outback. Sonny looks long at Brenda. Jax, Brenda and Robin talk. Robin tells Jax the line from the fairy tale is a request to spend a day with her prince. 

Sonny and Robin talk at Outback. Sonny tells Robin he's trying to fire Jason. Sonny tells Robin that he has asked Jason to find a new job as the Feds are coming after him. Robin expresses her concern for Sonny. Sonny and Robin talk about Jason and his loyalty to them both. Mike interrupts and Robin leaves. Mike and Sonny talk. Sonny says his luck has run out and it's his turn to pay up on a lot of old debts. Sonny tells Mike that he feels like the feds coming down on him is what he deserves. Mike gives Sonny a pep talk and tells him it's not his fault about Lily. Sonny gets angry, but then apologizes. Sonny and Mike talk about baseball. They agree to go to a baseball game. 

Jason offers his 12% of ELQ to Sonny to get him off the hook with the IRS. Sonny tells Jason he's tired of it all and just wants to finish with honor. Jason convinces Sonny that Sonny needs to hang in and fight on. Edward proposes a new CEO for ELQ, he wants Ned out and Justus in. Jason arrives, accompanied by Sonny. Jason introduces Sonny as new shareholder. Jason tells Ned that he sold his stock to Sonny. Ned and the family all freak. They blame Sonny for taking advantage of Jason.  An angry Ned accuses him of taking advantage of Jason. Lots of fireworks with the voting about Ned as CEO. The board is deadlocked. 

Tracy arrives to shake things up. Tracy demands to know what the board is trying to do to her son. Edward blames Ned for opening the door to Sonny. Jax sides with Edward and Ned loses the vote to remain as CEO. Edward offers Sonny a buyout of his stock. Ned and Edward corner Sonny and blast him about Jason. Alan slams him about Lily's death. Sonny looks stricken. Jason and Sonny leave. Brenda is mad at Jax for voting against Ned. Jax tells her it was business. Brenda and Jax argue over Sonny as shareholder. Jax insists his vote was not personal against Sonny or Ned. They make up. Brenda goes to bedroom and Tracy shows up. Tracy slaps Jax across the face for siding against Ned. We find out she is in league with Jax. Tracy kisses Jax.

Sonny goes to the docks. Jason gets Robin and they find Sonny.  They finally reach him and convince him that they're there for him. He comes out of his funk, at least a little, and he and Robin embrace. “Disarm” montage.

Sonny and Lois discuss the Cassadines. Brenda comes in and she and Sonny exchange a long look. Sonny says he doesn't trust Jax. Brenda joins the Ashtons to talk L&B business with Lois.  Sonny goes to Brenda's table to introduce himself formally to Tracy. Tracy notices the heat between Sonny and Brenda. Tracy comes to Outback to see Eddie rehearse. Tracy taunts Jax about Brenda’s obvious interest in Sonny. Jax assures Tracy that he's already made his move to neutralize Sonny. Sonny is clearly pining for Brenda, who is helping with the soundcheck. Dylan, Tracy's son, drops an ice cream cone on the soundboard and it blows. Sonny freaks and yanks Brenda to the ground to protect her. Jax moves Brenda away from Sonny. Sonny looks stricken again.     
 
Brenda makes a Freudian slip about Sonny to Jax. He is nervous. Jax confronts Sonny and tries to buy his ELQ stock. Sonny declines. Sonny, Jason and Robin have a good time talking and dancing. Brenda watches Sonny and smiles when she sees him laugh. Tracy sees Ned perform for the first time as Eddie Maine. Ned does an awesome number, "Those Little Things You Do" but Tracy hates it and fumes. Ned and Lois announce that they are going on summer tour. Ned and Lois say goodbye to Robin, Jason and Sonny. Lucy and Kevin talk to Sonny about Kevin's mother and child paintings hanging in the bar. Sonny starts to brood as he looks at them and thinks of Lily. Brenda watches as Sonny stares at the painting and broods. Her heart aches for him as knows what he is thinking about and is sad for him. Jax notices Brenda watching Sonny and Jax takes her out of the bar.
