DVD #8A  Miguel surprises Brenda in the shower. Sonny later takes Lily home, they come upon M&B making out in the hallway, Sonny invites Lily home with him and it makes Brenda nuts to realize they are sleeping together.
 
Stone tells Brenda that she needs to get the rest of her boxes out of Sonny’s old apt as they have moved. Sonny comes in while she is there. They fight again, Brenda tells him he doesn't love Lily like he loves her. Stone returns and finds her sitting on the floor crying. Stone can see Sonny is hurting and wants to help him. Stone defends Brenda to Sonny. Sonny tells him that relationship is broken way beyond repair and not to bother. Sonny worries about Stone expending his energy worrying about him.

Over dinner with Lily, Sonny explains that what happened between them, he does not take lightly. Lucy invites Sonny over to meet her friends, Norma (Kevin), and Eve (Mac), both guys in drag. Stone gets Ruby to let him build the biggest ice cream sundae at Kelly’s. Sonny sees Stone with L&B and walks away, then decides to return and join them. In the meantime, Miguel enters, he and Brenda have a whip cream fight. Sonny decides to pass.

Stone tells Sonny that he wants to buy Robin a ring. Sonny takes Stone ring shopping. Brenda and Miguel draw the ire of Ruby when they tear up their apt at Kelly making love. Jason and Keisha join Stone, Robin, Miguel, and Brenda for a picnic in the park. Stone learns to walk on stilts. Brenda tells Lois if she had it to do all over again, she would not wear the wire. Sonny and Lily at the club, they kiss. Sonny and Lily make love.

Lily and Sonny, and Brenda and Miguel are all at Kelly’s.  Sonny makes some cracks about an upcoming interview Miguel is doing. Lois comes in and breaks up their fight and warns Sonny about his contact with Miguel. Brenda convinces Lois that she will do damage control where Miguel is concerned.

Brenda and Miguel film another scene for the video. Sonny stops by to see the shoot. Miguel asks him to leave as he is distracting the talent. Lois has to stop them from coming to blows. Stone tells Brenda and Lois that Jagger and Karen are coming to PC. Miguel and Brenda have dinner at The Outback. Miguel and Brenda check into the PC hotel for a night alone and then she won’t have to face Karen and Jagger yet. Miguel is coming unglued when it comes to Sonny. Sonny tells Lily about his past with Karen. Sonny and Lily dance, smooch. Stone comes in. Later, there is a music montage as Sonny & Lily, and Brenda & Miguel make love. 

Brenda sees Karen. Brenda does not want to get into why Sonny and she broke up. Brenda sees Jagger. They talk about Stone and Sonny’s relationship. Soon, Jagger and Karen head back to Chicago.

Sonny tells Stone about his relationship with Lily. Sonny gives Ruby a birthday present. Sonny tells Luke how much he wants to slug Miguel and Ned. Lily bails on going with Sonny to Stone’s party. Miguel does the same to Brenda. Ned and Brenda decide to go to the party together.  Robin and Stone are surprised by their friends at the duel party at the Q boathouse. Robin gives Stone his memory book. 

Lucky, Felicia, Ned, Luke read their letters, Lucy a poem from Ziggy. Ned and Brenda are fooling around, and Sonny gets in Ned's face. Ned slugs Sonny who retaliates. Ned and Sonny both nurse shiners. Sonny and Stone later talk about the party and going to Miguel's concert. Sonny invites Lily to NYC for Miguel’s concert, buts she turns him down.

Brenda and Lucy. Brenda and Lily have another confrontation. Lily runs to Sonny. Brenda and Lois go over the details for Miguel’s concert. Sonny shows up to confirm concert arrangements. Sonny stirs things up by telling Lois that he is bringing Lily with him to Miguel’s show. Miguel has a problem with Sonny attending the show and doesn’t want him at the concert.
 
Sonny later gloats to Mike about annoying L&B and Miguel with the news that he is taking Lily to concert. Mike goes off on him. Luke has to break up a fight between Mike and Sonny. Sonny wants Luke to fire Mike, but Luke refuses.

Sonny is ready to cancel his trip to NYC to stay with Stone, but Stone insists he go. Stone is back in the hospital, Robin and Sonny are with him when Lois calls. Stone has had a seizure and wants to give up. Great scene as Sonny gives him a pick up "Rocky" talk, Lois comes in and is moved as she listens at the door. This is Sonny at his best. Outside, Lois tells Sonny how much she misses him. 

Stone’s test result and tells Sonny that he suspects Stone has a brain infection (Toxoplasmosis).  Sonny asks if Tony could wait till morning to tell Stone who is sleeping. 

Sonny and Lily are at Miguel’s concert, he sings a song dedicated to Stone, "The Power to Believe". Brenda and Miguel’s video is shown, "Don't Stop Now" as Miguel sings, he and Brenda dance.
 
After concert, M&B, N&L have a plan to once again try to get Sonny to step over Lois' creative control. Sonny comes in and Lois tells him about an offer to buy L&B. Lois lays out Cepeda’s offer to Sonny. When he hears that Brenda would be going with Miguel on tour for three months, he turns down the buyout offer. Miguel and Sonny come to blows with Sonny threatening him with a broken bottle. Lois and Ned break it up. Lois still wants to let Cepeda book Miguel for a South American Tour, but Brenda cannot go with him. Brenda and Miguel say their goodbyes.

Sonny at GH watching Stone and Robin sleep. Brenda arrives and Sonny walks her out and gives her an update on Stone's condition (they share incredible looks). Brenda tells Sonny about Miguel leaving. After seeing Sonny, an edgy Brenda goes back to the gatehouse. Ned is less than sympathetic, telling her to forget about Sonny. Lily and Sonny talk about NYC and Brenda at Luke's.  

Dorman and Tony talk, Dorman refuses to do the biopsy on Stone as Sonny and Bobbie look on. Robin, Stone, Sonny in his room at GH. Bobbie, Sonny and Stone in GH room after Stone's biopsy. Brenda visits Stone. Brenda comes in and Sonny starts to leave. Stone talks to both of them asking them to be nice to each other when they are with him, great conversation! They agree to try. Brenda reads to Stone as Sonny looks at her from the door.

DVD #8B  Sonny and Luke talk about Sonny's anger and where it stems from. Robin, Stone and Sonny at GH, Tony and Alan gives them the news that Stone has lymphoma and has 3-6 weeks to live. Sonny, Robin and Stone talk about how they will take care of Stone at home when Stone decides not to treat the lymphoma. Robin comforts Sonny as he cries in the hallway. Sonny and Luke discuss Stone. Sonny vows to take care of Stone at home so he will not have to go to a hospice.

Brenda comes to see Stone at GH but he's gone. Thinking he has passed away, she panics. Sonny comes in and he tells her that he just checked out of the hospital. Sonny tells her about Stone's lymphoma and they have a heart-to-heart conversation. Lily interrupts them and she and Sonny leave. Brenda tells Lois and Ned that Stone has six weeks to live, she talks about how devastated Sonny is and how she's upset for him. Brenda feels like she is losing everyone she cares about.
 
Lily and Sonny talk at Luke's about Stone. Mary Mae, Lois and Brenda talk about Mary Mae's upcoming concert. Lois and Brenda go over final plans for the Philadelphia concert with Mary Mae. Lois thinks that Brenda needs to get her head together where Sonny is concerned. She thinks Brenda is backsliding. 

Sonny tells Harry he needs more cash on hand for Stone’s medical care. Harry reminds him of the risk of getting caught by getting the funds but Sonny still instructs him to find the money. Sonny wants to cancel his trip to see Mary Mae’s Philadelphia concert. Robin convinces Sonny that Stone would want him to go. 

Brenda comes to see Sonny on the pretense of L&B business and they end up having a little talk about their relationship. Robin and Sonny have a moving and beautiful conversation. Lily stops by and talks with Sonny. Brenda stops by but Sonny's not there, he's taking Lily home. Brenda hugs and comforts Robin. After seeing how Sonny is taking care of Stone, Robin tells Brenda that she now understands why Brenda fell in love with him. Brenda visits Stone. Stone asks her if she is still in love with Sonny. Brenda is hugging Stone when Sonny walks in. He says a few things and then walks out. Stone, Brenda and Robin talk about Sonny. Brenda tries to talk with Sonny, but he tells her all he can deal with right now is Stone. Robin, Stone and Sonny talk.

Ned, Lois and Brenda at breakfast in Philadelphia (the day of Mary Mae’s concert). Sonny and Lily arrive and it's uncomfortable, Brenda can't keep her eyes off Sonny at the concert, Brenda accidentally knocks Sonny's drink as they are passing each other and they both laugh. Ned and Lily interrupt, Lucy and Brenda talk. Next morning after the concert, Simone and Brenda talk about Sonny and Stone. Lily leaves to go to the washroom and Brenda goes to Sonny, they talk about Stone until Lily comes back. 

Sonny and Harry talk about moving funds. Mike and Brenda talk, Mike is hugging her when Sonny walks in and Brenda leaves. Sonny, Robin and Stone, Stone is getting worse. Sonny and Stone have a cute, touching talk. Mac and Sonny talk about Stone. Mac tells Sonny that Robin is HIV positive. Sonny hugs Robin. Robin and Mac go upstairs to try and make Stone feel better about the news. Robin asks Sonny to tell Brenda and Luke about her HIV status. Sonny goes to the gatehouse and tells Brenda about Robin. Brenda loses it, Sonny holds her and they talk. They are hugging again when Ned & Lois interrupt. Sonny tells them about Robin and then leaves. Ned warns Brenda not to misinterpret the compassion that Sonny is showing toward Stone and Robin. Brenda explodes. Ned tries to tell Brenda not to get all hooked up into Sonny again and she goes off on him. Brenda leaves to see Robin and Lois also goes off on Ned. 

Sonny tells Luke about Robin. Brenda and Robin cry and talk, Stone joins them later, they ask Brenda to help with the early Christmas. Sonny agrees to cook for the party and get a tree. Damian questions Sonny about some questionable transactions from his accounts. Sonny explains he needed money for Stone’s medical bills.

Sonny arrives and Robin, Brenda and Stone tell him about early Christmas, they all sit around talking and laughing. Sonny sits next to Brenda. Sonny calls Luke to get the tree. Luke and Mike bring the tree to Sonny's and they all start tree trimming. Laura gives Stone the Spencer family tree Angel for the top of the tree.S&B share a moment together. 

Early Christmas Eve (in November) and Christmas with Stone and almost all of Port Charles. Sonny prepares a Christmas dinner pig for dinner. Much to Sonny’s irritation, Mike arrives to help with the pig roasting. Sonny agrees to let him help. They argue over the food prep. 

Robin and Brenda are sitting with Stone, Stone wants Brenda to read Sonny's letter in his book out loud to him and she does. Sonny walks in and stands in the doorway halfway through her reading, then he comes in and sits by Stone. Sonny cries as Brenda finishes the letter and her voice breaks. Brenda comes downstairs and Sonny's sitting on the couch. She sits next to him and he cries. She puts her arms around him, crying too. They talk about Stone and Sonny's letter and are very close until Lily interrupts them. Lily gives Sonny her grandfather's rosary beads and they talk. Sonny kneels at Stone's bedside, saying the rosary in Spanish as Lily looks on.
 
Sonny meets Damian and Damian tells him that the Feds are all over his records. Sonny asks Harry to find out who is leaking info to the cops about Damian's finances. Brenda arrives and Sonny takes her up to see Stone. Sonny, Stone and Brenda listen as Robin reads from her diary. Brenda hugs Stone and tells him how much she loves him as Sonny looks at them tenderly. Robin and Brenda leave the room and Stone noticing Sonny's eyes following Brenda out of the room, tells him he will get back with her someday. Robin and Brenda talk downstairs. Lily walks in and sees Brenda crying and tries to make nice with Brenda. Mac arrives and Brenda leaves.
 
Sonny tells Stone he's his brother, they both break down and cry. Stone asks Sonny to take care of Robin, Mac and Robin walk in. "When Angels Cry" plays as Robin and Stone lay on the bed and Mac and Sonny look on, Sonny's crying. Lily and Sonny talk about Stone. With his eyesight failing, Stone gets one last view of Robin in the sunlight. Stone passes away in Robin’s arms. Sonny learns he is gone. Robin tells Brenda that Stone is gone. Sonny breaks down at Stone’s bedside.

Brenda arrives and holds Robin. Felicia, Mac, Brenda, and Robin come into Stone's room. Lily and Sonny are sitting in there. Felicia says her goodbye to Stone. Brenda goes to say her goodbye to Stone but breaks down in tears. Sonny goes and puts his arms around her, taking her to sit down. She sits in the chair and he sits on the edge of it, holding her hand and she holds his arm. 

Mike and Sonny talk. Before Luke can confront Sonny about Damian, Sonny tells Luke the truth about Damian and their partnership. Luke wants to know why Sonny never mentioned his partnership with Damian before. Luke refuses to tell Sonny where he got the information from. Luke wants to know if Sonny can be traced to Damian’s dirty money. Sonny tells him that a loan for Stone’s medical bills passed thru Damian’s account to his. They hash out everything and end up still friends. 

Brenda tells Lois that now that Stone is gone, all she wants to do is be with Sonny and help him. Lois warns her not to do anything rash. Sonny brings Stone’s ashes for the memorial service. Friends gather for Stone’s memorial. Sonny, Mac, Kevin, and Robin speak at the memorial.
