SUMMARY
Detectives August Brooks and Chase McDonald meet when August and several officers are being overwhelmed by criminals in an explosive shootout. Chase arrives in his Porche and immediately neautralizes the situation with a grenade launcher. Moments later, August discovers that Chase is his new partner, and they are immediately assigned the case to track down James Harley - nicknamed the Daybomber - who has set off a series of explosions in his quest to warn people of the advances of technology.

Chase and Jodi celebrate their one year anniversary.
DAMAGE REPORT
Vehicles destroyed: 11 (9 cars, 2 vans)
Chases: 2 (1 foot, 1 vehicle)
Explosions: 7
BLOOPERS
In some shots during the van/car chase, you can barely make out that there are two occupants in the front seats of the van, but only Chase is driving. Cragmeyer is in the back, attempting to disarm the bomb. The van also has an ordinary sliding side door, which comes off during the roll. After it comes to a stop, Chase and Cragmeyer exit the vehicle by opening the side doors, which are now double hinge doors. (This is because the majority of the sequence was from a film called The Silencer, produced by PM Entertainment, and a different van was used for the new footage.)
Crew reflection visible in phone booth window when August is looking around beside it.
Steadi-cam operator's shadow visible when Chase moves around behind Jodi on the roof.
In the first long-shot of Harely, he's holding the detonator at arm's length. In the close-up that follows, his arm is bent at the elbow, holding the device closer to himself.
While trying to deactivate the bomb strapped to Jodi's back, Chase calls Cragmeyer on his cellphone. He holds the phone with his left hand, but close-ups show him using both hands to work with the bomb.
