SUMMARY
Ariel, a prostitute, is found dead. Nearby, a beautiful young hooker named Electra wanders the streets in a daze. Narrowly escaping Uzi-toting hitmen, she is taken into custody by Chase and August. Electra has amnesia and cannot remember what happened the night of Ariel's murder. Eager to crack the case, Chase and August are relieved of their investigation by Captain Jensen after orders from the mayor's office. Chase, convinced there is a cover-up in progress, refuses to drop the case.

TRIVIA
Chase's first name, Chester, is revealed in the teaser.
Sugar Ray Leonard is again billed as a regular in the opening titles, but this is his last appearance on the show.
In a nice bit of continuity, Chase's sculpture that was unveiled in "Daybomber" can briefly be seen when the delivery man enters the museum, and again when Jodi and Kendra walk past it.
Mark Sikes, the show's casting director, cameos as a flower vendor.
The DVD release titles this episode as "Night Becomes Electra."
