SUMMARY
Playing host to a Cops-like television shot, Chase and August are out to catch the gangbangers responsible for a string of 211s around the city. The two-person TV crew tags along while the detectives tackle a 211 in progress and apprehend a couple of suspects. When Chase saves a store owner's 12-year-old boy just before a grenade erupts and the producer of the show says he plans to make Chase "a star," August fears his partner's desire to be a movie star will slow their investigation.

BLOOPERS
Chuck and Butch ride around with the detectives in the back seat. But when Chase and August first arrive at the liquor store and hang the sharp turn, the back seat is empty.
When the camerman and producer begin their ride-along with Chase and August, Chuck sits behind August and Butch is behind Chase. But between the part where Chuck asks Chase to give him a "really intense look" and the shot where their car arrives at the liquor store, the two have switched sides.
When August's car hits another vehicle and flips, you can clearly see that no one is in the car.
When August starts reading through "Instant Acting," Chase is in his chair, lazily holding the phone in his left hand. But in the very next shot that shows them both, the phone is held between his head and shoulders, and he's writing on a clipboard.
