SUMMARY
Arriving at the scene of a murder, Chase and August find that the victim is Bobby Roman, a favorite target of controversial shock-jock Jerry Maxwell. Roman has been shot in the head, just as Jerry Maxwell always advocated. When Chase and August confront Jerry Maxwell about the murder, the beligerent radio host denies involvement in the crime. But then a call comes into the station, and Jerry is shocked to hear a devoted listener, Ward Valasco, claim that he killed Roman, and that he intends to kill all of Maxwell's enemies.

TRIVIA
The character Hawk Olsen is a play on star Wolf Larson's name. Wolf apparently took the joke in stride, as his character refers to Olsen as a "lousy, deadbeat actor" and asks "What kind of a stupid name is Hawk?"
Paul G. Volk, who wrote, produced, and directed several episodes, has a cameo as Slippers in the teaser.
When Chase leaps from the fire escape to the truck below, Wolf Larson can clearly be seen performing the stunt himself.
The DVD release titles this episode as "Words Can Not Hurt."
DAMAGE REPORT
Vehicles destroyed: 5 (2 trucks, 1 car, 1 boat, 1 armored truck)
Chases: 5 (3 foot, 1 bike, 1 car)
Explosions: 2
BLOOPERS
In the opening shot, as Chase and August's car pulls up, the boom mike's reflection can be seen on the hood.
During the foot chase, Chase's high-top shoes mysteriously change to cowboy boots.
When Ward shoots Bertha, the close-up shows one muzzle flash, yet two shots are heard.
The P.O.V. of the suburban shows that the vehicle is heading directly for the front right fender of the swerved pick-up. But in the very next shot, the suburban clips the rear of the pick-up.
Dummy visible in the car that gets stuck under the fuel tanker.
When Ward enters the radio station lobby with Chase, August turns and draws his gun, but appears to stop and look down, as if checking the safety. But in the very next (close-up) shot of August, his arm movements indicate he's pulling the gun from his holster and bringing it straight up to aim at Ward.
