On that occassion, he is said to have praised her in five verses which have become memorable.

The author of the present five slokas, Shree Bhashya Swamigal was asked by the then pontiff of the Sringeri Sarada Peetha in his dream to compose them in the praise of the Mother Aryambal. We are told that Swamigal composed these verses in flowing "Shardulavikriditham" within 15 minutes. That was in 1964. The verses are in celebration of the re-union of the Acharya and his dying mother and the eulogy of motherhood. The present publication contains the full text of the five Verses and detailed commentary on them in English by K. K. Sankaran.
