Hot and sunny. Gorgeous day.
Today was a great day. It was really nice. I got up a bit after 9 today, showered and then came through to the living room and worked on computer stuff.
Fumihiko took me for breakfast to Gusto. I had chicken and hamburger. The chicken had a garlic sauce that I'd asked to have left off, but the waitress was busy and must have forgotten. I scraped it off and it was fine.
My school was quite warm, so I ran the air conditioner and then changed and got ready for work. My first class went really well. My student is very nice and we had a good class.
After my first class I had a long break. I read some of my book, did some paperwork, made a trip to the convenience store, and then came back and watched an episode of The West Wing. Every time I watch that show I marvel at how good it was.
When my second student came, she got a different sort of lesson than she'd had the last few times. Today we worked on her speech and tried a few new things. It went really well. We did a lot of vocal work which I think worked.
When my student left I locked the door and almost immediately, heard a knock on the door. Thinking my student had left something behind, I opened the door. My husband was there! I was really surprised to see him. I invited him in, and even let him fix himself some tea while I finished up.
We went to S-Mall to pick up my rings. Success! They fit again. It was nice to be able to put them both on my ring finger comfortably. Fumihiko paid for the resizing, so I bought us both coffees at Doutors. Then, we talked about dinner.
We decided to go to Togashi's, the really good yakiniku restaurant we go to. We went there and despite the parking lot being full, there was a table for us. We went in and had a nice meal.
We came home via the grocery store and picked up a few things. We came home and had a quiet night. Fumihiko wanted to watch the Paralympics opening ceremonies but I was bored so asked him to try other channels. We watched The Terminal by default, and it was good!
Around 1 we watched Heroes. It was good tonight. Fumihiko doesn't watch it as much as me, so he's a little lost, but seemed to enjoy it. Then, he found Desperate Housewives, so he was happy.
That's it, my day. Not terribly exciting. Night.
