Rainy and then snowy and cold. Bleck.
A good day really. I woke up at 8 this morning, just before my alarm went off. I got up, unlatched the front door and then went back to bed. Around 8:30 Fumihiko came home. Of course he woke me up. He left again a few minutes later, waking me up again. Sigh.
I got up, watched the news, then showered. Fumihiko was back from the doctor and we chatted for a bit. We went out for breakfast to our usual Gusto. It was busy today. The special school near my school had a craft sale so I think families were having lunch afterwards.
Fumihiko dropped me off and I went inside. Most things were ready, but I had to do a bit of cleaning and putting on of hot water, checking and changing my clothes. When my student came we had a good lesson. Afterwards, I did the paperwork and then had a nap! I have a small futon at the school for days like this. Thing is, I didn't expect it would be so cold. I had the heater on right next to me, but the floor was cold. I did sleep for a couple of hours, but it wasn't great sleep. My last class went well. I haven't seen that student for about a month, so it was nice to have her back.
Fumihiko picked me up and we went to Jiro for dinner. We both had the same thing, a mixed grill plate. Very nice.
We came home and watched Enigma, the Dougray Scott-Kate Winslet movie. It was very good. Typically British movie with a great cast.
That was about it for our day. We had a nice evening. It was quiet, but nice.
Tomorrow we might go shoe and toy shopping, but I'm not sure. Find out tomorrow! Night.
