December 5, 2008 - Friday

Cloudy in the morning, torrential rain in the evening. Of course!

Today was a pretty good day. I got up, did the coffee and news thang, then got on with my day. I had a nice and quiet morning and afternoon.

I left for work around 4 pm and got quite wet on the way there. It was pouring! I got ready for my class and then taught it when the student came. He was in a good mood today and we had a great class. I was impressed actually.

After his class I quickly finished up and then got back on my bike. I stopped at the grocery store for quite a lot of groceries.

When I came home, I started making a quiche. I found the recipe today. It doesn't need a crust, so it's quite low carb. It did need 6 eggs, but that wasn't a problem. Last weekend, Fumihiko bought eggs on Saturday, but didn't tell me. I didn't notice them in the fridge so on Monday I bought another pack! Egg overload. Anyway, I made the quiche and had to figure out how to use my microwave/oven oven. I used it for the first time as an oven tonight, but I got it to work. Yay. While my quiche cooked, I ate my dinner. It was nice, and the quiche was really good.

After dinner I watched a movie which I really enjoyed. It was Stardust. I like fantasy movies a lot. Then, I watched Grey's Anatomy and then some of Corner Gas. When I was watching Corner Gas I did a bit of gift wrapping. Yay me.

And that was about that for my day. I did talk to Fumihiko for a few minutes. He had an early night. I don't know if he had a good time or not.

The weather outside is wuthering away and we are forecast to have snow tonight. I'm a bit nervous. I hope it's not too bad outside tomorrow.
