Shao Khan's Castle
Shao Kahn's Castle, Dungeon
As Guile shot a sonic boom, Honda rolled out of the way and Vega suddenly shot into the air with a quickness and a speed that was unmatched by any other opponent Guile had ever faced. The dark dungeon was a perfect place for Vega as he was hidden by the shadows on the ceiling.
E. Honda got up from the roll and did a flying headbutt through the air knocking Sonya and Jax down. As Sonya rolled up from the ground she jump kicked Honda in his massive chest hurting her leg, but not even phasing the sumo. He picked her up and slammed her into the ground repeatedly.
When Honda dropped Sonya and she tried to get to her feet, the heavy man started stomping and jumping on her unprotected body, trying to crush and break her bones. Jax, momentarily stunned, quickly got up and uppercutted the large man off of the helpless Sonya. As the sumo staggered back from Jax's hit, he looked him deep in his eyes, "Nice punch. Do it again and I'll kill you slowly. Beg for a quick death from E. Honda!"
Guile shot blindly at the laughter that filled the dungeon from the crazed manic Vega. The sickening laughter echoing through the dungeon was enough to drive anyone crazy. As the dungeon started to rumble from Guile's sonic blasts, Vega screamed out laughing uncontrollably, "You're going to kill us all! We're all going to die! If you don't stop shooting at the ceiling, the castle will collapse on top of us! Ha! Ha!"
Dee Jay put his hand on Guile's shoulder, "Stop shooting, he's right."
Guile was still in a rage, "Come out you murderer!! Fight like a man!!"
Suddenly Vega appeared on the ground in an incredible speed, "Ok, I'll fight," he took his hands from behind his back showing his claws, "two against one with claws seems fair to me, how 'bout you?"
Guile jump kicked at Vega who sidestepped the attack with ease and slashed Guile on the arm. As Dee Jay shot a fireball Vega back flipped out of the way, and jumped at him. Dee Jay ducked just in time to dodge the attack and swept Vega off his feet. Guile did a Flip Kick trying to land on Vega but he quickly moved out of the way and slashed Guile's leg. As he jumped on the cage he sat waiting for an attack.
Guile clutched at his bleeding leg and arm and looked at a perfectly fine Dee jay, "Why am I cut up and bleeding while you are sitting there looking ok?"
"Because, I'm a better fighter," answered a smiling Dee Jay and then turned his attention to the cackling Vega.
Honda did a hundred slap to a blocking Jax battering his metal arms. He did another hundred as Jax's arms began to develop dents. He called for Sonya for help as he couldn't attack the quick handed sumo.
Sonya slowly got up from the ground. He turned to Honda's back and did her signature move the Kiss of Death hitting him in the back and burning his rough skin to a crisp. He screamed with pain as his back was reduced to charred skin. As soon as he turned his attention to Sonya again, Jax used all his strength and punched him in his charred back ripping off his burnt skin and exposing his bare flesh.
Honda again screamed in pain as he staggered towards the other battle bleeding badly. Sonya and Jax looked at each other and jump kicked the sumo in his heavily damaged back at the same time, making the large man fly into his execution partner.
As Vega got up he was covered with blood. When he tossed Honda off of him he was horrified to see that in the collision his had stabbed his one and only friend in the chest with his claws. As he tried to slap his partner awake he screamed in rage, "You killed him!! You killed Honda!! I'm going to kill you all one by one!!"
Vega kiped too his feet and ran at Guile who flipped out of the way and spin kicked him in the face. Vega screamed in rage as he fell spinning to the ground. He quickly got up and took to the air again. Guile yelled to the darkness, "Come out you coward!!"
"Ok," yelled Vega as he jumped out of the darkness and dived at an unsuspecting Dee jay. He slashed Dee Jay in the top of the head and landed on him. Before anyone could do anything he got up and put his claws to the injured Dee Jay's neck, "If anyone moves I'll kill him, I swear!!"
Sonya told everyone not to move a muscle or they would be responsible for Dee Jay's death. As everything sat at a standstill, Vega started laughing and slit Dee Jay's neck making his dark red blood spill everywhere. Dee Jay put out his hands toward Sonya in desperate and futile help as he saw his blood spilling to the floor.
As Dee Jay fell to the floor, Guile screamed and shot a Sonic boom, knocking the still laughing Vega into the wall. He then jumped on top of Vega and started beating him with his bare hands. Through Vega's beating, Vega screamed with laughter like the insane killer he was. Guile beat Vega until he couldn't hear his sickening laughter anymore, and looked at the unmoving demented murder. Guile had beaten Vega to death with his bear hands in a blind rage.
As he climbed off the bloody carcass, he saw Sonja cradling Dee Jay's dead body in her hands, rocking back and forth, saying nothing and covered in his blood. Jax was in the corner with his head down in sorrow and agony. Guile walked over to Sonya and tried to comfort her but she pushed him away, "No, I'm Major Blade, I'm a strong and powerful soldier. I have seen lots of death, this is just another casualty."
"No," said Guile as he pulled Blade away from Dee Jay's dead body, "Dee Jay was different, he was a good guy. He wasn't a killer, he was a damn good soldier."
Sonya let tears fall in memory of a good friend and a great soldier lost. She did not wipe her face as they fell, as she wasn't ashamed. Dee Jay was a good man dying not only for his country, but for his world. How many people can truthfully say that? He was one of the best.
Sonya tried to consume herself in the mission, "Everyone spread out and look for salvageable prisoners."
As Jax and Guile looked for living prisoners, Sonya said a prayer for Dee Jay's family. She then joined the team. They looked in the large dungeon finding either deranged prisoners, or dead prisoners. Eventually, they made it to the last cell and found a woman kneeling on the ground. Sonya spoke to her, "My name is Sonya Blade, we are from Earth and have come to set you free."
The woman stood up, "My name is Princess Kitana. Shao Kahn took my realm as his first of his evil empire. He killed everyone in my kingdom except me. I was forced to watch everyone I had ever known and cared about slaughtered before my eyes, including my mother and father, the late king and queen.
"I am over 400 years old and have been imprisoned for 200 years because Shang Suang is in love with me and wants to marry me. But I refuse to marry someone who is evil. If you let me out I can help you destroy Shao Kahn's evil empire."
"Stay away from the door."
As Sonya said this, the door flew off its hinges and Kitana was freed. Suddenly, they heard the enormous door the Earth Force had escaped though, blow into thousands of pieces. Guile looking back said, "We got to get out of here now!"
"I know a secret passageway that we can get away in!" said Kitana.
Sonya grabbed Kitana's neck and slammed her against the wall, "If this is a trick, I promise you that you would be happy to join your mother and father when I'm done with you. Do you understand?"
As Kitana nodded, Sonya let her go and called to her team, "Let's go team!"
Kitana led as the ran down the corridors in the dark dungeon. As they reached a dead end Jax looked at Kitana, "What now?"
Kitana got on her knees and looked at the wall. Suddenly a light came from a crack in the wall and scanned her face. The wall beeped and then opened. The team ran inside just as the wall closed.
Kano ran down the stairs after them infuriated that they had escaped his trap. As they passed the dead bodies of E. Honda and Vega, Kano smiled. He walked over to the last body and looked it over. It was one of Sonya's men, Dee Jay. These lunatic executioners had finally done something good! Kano also saw a trail of blood leading towards the cells. As he followed their track of blood, his right hand man Goro told him, "This corridor goes to a dead end. We'll have them trapped!"
Kano nodded at the good news, "They had run themselves to their death!"
As they reached the end of the corridor he saw no one there. Goro looked around confused, "I don't understand where they could have gone Kano! This corridor ends here!"
Kano smiled looking at Goro, "Why would their be a corridor ending in a dead end, Stupid? The designer is either a idiot or a very smart man."
As the confused execution squad looked at their commander he knocked on the wall. The loud clanking sound echoed through the corridor. "You see?" Asked Kano. "This wall is made of metal, it is a secret passage."
Goro walked to the wall, "Kano, I will open the door for you.'
Kano sat back and watched as the mammoth six armed creature faced the wall. Goro started hitting the wall with all of his hands. As the beating lasted over a couple of minutes Kano yelled at the creature to stop. He then turned to a Chinese woman wearing Zena like armor named Chun Li. "Open the door, now!"
The others laughed as the woman walked to the wall. Did Kano really think that a woman could open a metal door that Goro couldn't? He must be crazy!
The woman walked to the wall, and turned to Kano for permission. As Kano knodded she started blasting the wall with high speed kicks making the metal wall creak with pressure. As she started screaming her kicks became harder, and with a triumphant yell the secret door flew from its hinges. As she put down her leg, the squad started to mumble with unbelieving voices. Kano faced the woman, "Li, you are my new lieutenant."
Chun Li nodded, "Yes sir." She faced Goro with a wicked smile of victory. Goro growled a deep evil growl, he had a new enemy.
Kano faced the dark chamber, "Let's go."
As Kano's team ran into the dark passageway Kano kept Chun Li behind. As he saw that they were alone, Kano passionately kissed Chun Li forcing her against the wall. As Chun Li smiled at the kiss, Kano went to her breasts kissing them up and down. Chun Li looked into her boyfriend's eyes, "Kano, we are a long way from Earth. But, thanks for making me your lieutenant again. I'll give you your reward later tonight!"
Kano grabbed the woman kissing and licking her up and down her beautiful body, "I'll get the reward when I say so. Understand woman?"
As the woman smiled and made her way down the corridor, Kano smiled, "I love this job."
Shao Khan's Castle, Shang Suang's Laboratory
Evil laughing came from deep into Shang Suang's Laboratory. "I did it! I made the perfect evil warrior!"
Suddenly, a pod opened releasing foul smelling smoke that filled the room. Shang Suang continued talking to his recorder. "Made only from the most evil warriors of Shao Khan I have made the perfect warrior. Using DNA from Ermac, Barraka, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Sindel, Shao Kahn and me this clone cannot be beaten!"
As if on cue, the evil warrior from the pod sat up and looked at Shang Suang. "What is my name?"
Shang Suang thought for a while thinking, "Well since you are made up of more than one being I find it only suitable that I name you Hybrid!"
Hybrid smiled an evil smirk as he let his blades shoot out of his arms like Barraka did. "Hybrid? Sounds good to me. So tell me Shang Suang, when do we stop all this bullshit and start killing people?"
Shang Suang smiled, with affection on his newborn monster, "As soon as you get dressed."
Raiden's Realm-Battlefield
The battle was amazing, Earth's Warriors were fighting with unbelievable power, but the ninja's were matching all their efforts. Ryu couldn't help but to notice how much his fighting had changed from what it had used to be, "Wow, I am moving so fast, I barely have time think of what my next move is!"
Just then he got a kick in through Ermac's defense sending the ninja flying into the cave that Lou Kang had previously fought in. Ryu quickly shot one of his amazing sized fireballs into the cave after the red ninja. He jumped into the air as the whole cave exploded with fire erupting everywhere. He shot at the place where Ermac was, repetitively until that part of the realm had been completely destroyed. The Utopia that Raiden had created was no more, the familiar mist of Raiden's realm showed in the region of Ryu's attack. From the mist of the place where the cave had been, limped out an angry ninja, "Is that…is that all you've got mortal?"
Ryu returned to the ground equally angry at his futile attempt to quickly end the battle , "I got more if you can take it, Ermac!"
Lou Kang was again fighting Scorpion. It seems with scorpion's power up he had indeed gotten stronger. Instead of a single animal like spear, Lou Kang now had four to worry about. Two were coming out of each hand trying to stab Lou Kang's body. Lou Kang set out to show the ninja how equally acrobatic he was, flipping around the burning trees, and doing somersaults confusing the yellow ninja's spears.
As the battle raged on Scorpion began to notice his spears were starting to tangle, but it was too late. Lou Kang quickly grabbed the spears tying the knots solid. As the helpless Scorpion watched Lou Kang shoot his spears blowing them up, he cursed him, "That's the second time you've disabled my pets mortal. I promise you, you will never again see the light of day!"
Lou Kang looked into the air, Scorpion was correct. The sun had gone down and the moon was shining brightly, illuminating the battlefield. Lou Kang figured that that meant that they had been fighting almost non-stop for over 5 hours. "Not bad," thought Lou Kang as he dodged a surprise attack by Scorpion. He turned to the ninja sending sweat flying from his black, spiky hair, "Let's finish this."
Ken uppercutted Sub-Zero into the air saying, "Hey, Big Zero, I thought you were going to fight!"
Sub-Zero flipped in the air shooting his freeze attacks. As Ken dodged, he said to himself, "Man, these guys don't even seem that tough anymore. They talk a lot of trash but they're nothing. But, I guess that's probably because I'm about 50 times faster and stronger than I was before."
As Ken took his mind off the battle, Sub-Zero got a freeze attack in through Ken's defense, freezing the careless warrior. As Ken stood trapped in the rock hard ice struggling to escape, the ninja walked to him and smiled, "What's wrong, your mouth get the best of you?"
Ken stopped struggling and smiled back at the ninja, "Got Ya!"
Suddenly, Ken flexed his muscles and ripped through his ice prison shattering it into millions of pieces. As the stunned blue ninja watched, Ken did a Shoryuken uppercut into him burning his body through the flame that surrounded Ken. As the burning ninja flew through the air, Ken yelled to the other two warriors, "Let's do this!"
All three of the Warriors powered up all the power they had left within themselves. As they again glowed with power they all screamed simultaneously they shot out their most powerful fireball they had ever before attempted, all hitting the enemies they had been facing.
Sub-Zero fell to the ground glowing with Ken's power, Ermac dragged himself across the ground which was starting to shake and rumble, and Scorpion stood up and started a seizure. The warriors watched as their enemies started to scream, "NOOOOOOO!!!"
They explosion was spectacular filled with blue, white and red energy that consumed everything in the bright colors. Suddenly Lou Kang, Ryu, and Ken found themselves flying uncontrollably through the air.
When they flew over the edge of Raiden's realm, they realized that that attack might have been too much. As they fell hundreds of miles through the sky to their death, they were suddenly teleported back onto the familiar mist filled Realm of Raiden. As Raiden faced them he smiled, "You are ready. In the morning we will go and fight in Mortal Kombat!"
The Warriors looked at each other and fainted with extreme exhaustion. Tomorrow, they were in for the fight of their lives. And they were ready.
Under Shao Kahn's Castle
Kitana swiftly made her way down the passage with Earth Strike Force behind her. As Sonya asked where they were going, they came to a room filled with electronics. Kitana stopped and explained what the room was while she started turning on all the dusty equipment, "This is the emergency hostile takeover room. My father, when he was king, had this room built in case someone like Kahn took over his castle."
As the equipment started booting up, Jax knew what the room was, "It's the ignition switch to a big bomb." Jax had been around enough bombs to see that this one had been wired to the whole castle. He looked on the monitors.
"This room is connected to every secret explosive around the castle. With a timer, we can blow this place and take out every soldier in the castle! Our mission will be half finished!"
"Yes," answered Kitana, "My father was a smart king and the always took precautions." The computers came on line, showering the room with light. "Luckily, Shao Kahn never found this room."
Guile took a lookout place in the passageway. "Everyone, be quiet." He listened to the sounds of Goro smashing his fists in the secret door. He turned to the team, "They found the secret passageway! We're going to have company in a few minutes!"
Kitana sat at a keyboard, "That's more than enough time." She started keyboarding at what had to be 200 words per minute as computer screens started to light up and execute programs. In a couple of minutes Kitana got up done, "We have 3 minutes to get out of here."
Sonya nodded, "Good. Do we have a way out of here?"
Kitana nodded, "Yes, but there's a problem. The escape pod has room for only 2. At the most 2 small people and 1 large." She looked at Sonya with tears in her eyes, "I would gladly give my life for the people who saved me, and gave me the chance to eliminate so many of Shao Kahn's forces, but there is no room for your two large soldiers. I'm sorry, it had to come to this but someone has to stay behind."
Sonya sorrowfully looked at her men, "We let the princess go and we all go together. It's all of us or none of us. Our job is done, Shao Kahn will be killed."
Guile shook his head, "No, we can't be sure of that, plus the princess needs protection. We can't send her off on her own. I'll stay behind and make sure the explosives go off as planned, you, Jax, and the princess go."
Jax nodded thinking to himself, "That would be for the best."
As Sonya and the princess got in the escape pod Jax called over Guile who was standing by the passageway. As they shook hands Jax said to him, "Take care…of Sonya and the princess for me!" He pushed the surprised Guile into the escape pod and sealed the door.
Sonya screamed Jax's name as she saw him through the dusty glass. He yelled through, "Take care Sonya. I'm glad to have served with you for so long. It was a honor." And with that he sent the escape pod off to the surface of the castle to safety. Jax went over and smashed the equipment so the countdown could not be stopped. He then sat and looked at the screen, 1 minute and 5 seconds left. Now to wait.
Kano entered the room as the fighting stopped. His men had the bloody Jax pinned down. He entered the room as Jax started laughing, "Come here Kano I want to show you something!"
Kano started to move closer when he saw the timer on a monitor. It was on 20 seconds! He looked at Jax, "You son of a bitch!"
Kano turned on his heels and without warning any of his troops, started running out of the room filled with Jax's laughter. As he reached the top of the passageway he heard the explosion. Chaos filled the dungeon as it's roof started to cave in and walls started shaking. As this chaos continued, Kano dodged all the falling bricks and debris. Kano had been in many close situations and knew how to react quickly. He ran hard as he could for the opposite wall, for he knew he would be killed if he stayed in the collapsing dungeon. Kano pulled out his blaster and blew away a wall just to dive through it as the dungeon collapsed, instantly killing his troops. Just as he crashed to the ground on the outside of the castle, he felt someone land on the ground beside him.
As he looked over and saw Chun Li beside him and out of breath, the castle started moaning and groaning. Kano and Chun Li watched horrified as the right side of the castle fell over towards the two Earthlings threatening to crush them. Kano and Chun Li stared at each other for a second in agony and then got up and ran with all the spirit left in their sore and pain filled bodies. As Kano and Chun Li ran away from the towering castle they could hear the loud and rumbling sound of the debris crashing closer and closer behind them.
At the last second Kano and Chun Li dived as the top of the castle landed at their feet throwing them further away. The only two people left alive of Shao Kahn's forces slowly got up. As Kano looked at the demolished castle he shook his head, "I'm going to die for this."
Chun Li looked at him, "We can escape like Sagat did. We can still get away Kano!"
Kano yelled, "Shut up bitch ! I know, we'll have to." Suddenly Kano's face turned dark and his eye red with evil. He clenched his teeth in hatred, "But first I want to finish something I started. There is no more 'trying', no! I'm going to kill, Sonya and Guile!!"
