Want to make a profit but are lost in what to do? Here are some tips to get you on your way.
- Bank: Make sure to put all your NPs in the bank so they collect interest. This way you make a profit off your profit!!
- Sell: Remember everything you get SELL, SELL, SELL!
- Shrine: Visit Coltzan's Shrine every day. You can go to it every 12 hours with 2 pets. You can win dubloons, food, battle items, and faeries. You can also win stats like +1 strength, +1 defence, +1 IQ, +1 speed, +1 hit point, or you can win 1,000,000NP. The chances of winning the million neopoints is very slim to none though.
- Kiosk: Visit the Scratch Card Kiosk every 6 hours and buy a scratchcard there for 600NP. You can get a Race to the Riches scratchcard, a Terror Trove scratchcard, a Faerie Fortunes scratchcard, a Peak -O- Plenty scratchcard, or an Icetravaganza scratchcard. The Icetravaganza scratchcard is worth the most and the Race to the Riches scratchcard is worth the least.
- Shops: Neopets made shop restock times random. The shops restock most of their items between 8:00-10:00am Neopian time. If you really want to get a rare item, go to the shops between 5:00-10:00 Neopian time because that is when many people that play neopets are not on.
- Neggs: The Main Food Shop sells neggs for only 10-500Np. If you have a fast internet connection, see if you can get a cheap negg. Im sure you'll get one at least. If you do get a negg, sell it for some major profit.
- Trading post: If you manage to collect a set of something. Like the whole map, or a set of faeries, or a set of codestones, etc.. Put them up in the trading post in one lot. Like the whole set in one lot. People will usually pay more for it as it saves them time having to try to search each one down. It especially is more common in maps. I will pay about 23,000 for a whole map buying them piece by piece through the auctions and peoples shops. Then, put it up in the trading post and get bids for like 30,000nps. It takes me all day to collect a whole map. They dont want to spend the time so they spend a lil extra NPs. Or, even tambola items. Put a whole lot of ten of the same one up and people will pay more. Some people need them for the guilds' donation shop and dont have time to buy them individually. So, they bid a lil more than they are worth to make sure you accept there bid and this saves them time.
- Magic Shop: The Magic Shop sells many motes and other items for 100-600NP. If you have a fast internet connection, try to get the items that will make a profit. The Magic Shop also sells rare potions for 4,000-90,000NP. But, remember the potions that change your pets most arent worth the high price to buy them as they may sell less. Only buy things that cost less than 5000np. Best bet is to keep up to date on the resale value of things.
- Battle Shop: The Battle Magic shop sells wands, specters, rods, and staffs for 10,000-50,000. It only restocks one of those items at a time so you are really lucky if you get one.
- Toy Shop: The toyshop can sell rare and valuable plushies and toys. If you are lucky, you might get a rare plushie like a magical blue krawk plushie. If you ever get one, sell it.
- Petpets: Petpets are also a good way to earn neopoints. No, they are an AWESOME way to earn neopoints. Here are a list of rare petpets and how much they are worth.
* Krawk: The krawk petpet can be found in the Tyrannian and Krawk Island petpet shops. Krawks can sell up to 1,000,000NP because you can actually make a neopet out of them. This is the most expensive petpet.
* Cadro: This petpet can be found in the Faerieland petpet shop. It sells up to 800,000NP.
* Zumagorn: The Zumagorn can be found in the Faerieland petpet shop also. It sells up to 600,000NP.
* Hasee: This can be found in the petpet shop in the main shops menu. It sells up to 400,000NP.
* Flizzardo: This can be found in the petpet shop in the main shops menu. It can be sold at around 100,000NP.
- Pharmacy: The Pharmacy sells sporkle syrup, magic goop, and grumble be gone tablets for a few neopoints. They sell for very high prices.
- Tambola: Visit Tombola every day. You will always earn an item. Sometimes you will get neopoints. When you win, you can get paintbrushes, faeries, codestones, gross food, or other items. If you don't win, you might get a booby prize. Sometimes even if you lose he gives you np's.
- Fruit Machine: The Fruit Machine is a good place to go if you want free neopoints and items. You don't win all the time though. If you win, you get some neopoints and an item. You do not get booby prizes if you do not win.
- Wheel of Excitement: If you really want to win some neopoints or some items, spin the Wheel of Excitement. It costs 100NPs to spin, so it's not free. You could win neopoints, items, and ability level gains or decreases. Your pet can be healed to full, you could get an item stolen from you by the Pant Devil, or you can win 10,000Np. I really suggest spinning it every 2 hours because the prizes that you can get are pretty good.
- Omelette: For free food, go to the Omelette every day. You will always recieve an omelette that can fill your pet's stomach 3 times. Or, you can just out your pet in the hotel. For 150np for the whole month and just sell your omelettes as the hotel feeds your pet for free while there. This way you can earn NP¡¦s from the omelletes and buy something nice for your pet. And, you can still play with your pet while they are in the hotel.
