Ishmael Or Isaac?
The True Heir Of Abraham
Muslims say Ishmael was Abraham’s true heir and that the record in the Bible was corrupted to show Isaac as the heir. Because of this claim, they also say Israel has no exclusive right to the land of Palestine.
Let’s compare what the Qur’an says of Isaac and what it says about Ishmael.

And We gave to him Ishaq and Yaqoub; each did We guide, and Nuh did We guide before, and of his descendants, Dawood and Sulaiman and Ayub and Yusuf and Haroun; and thus do We reward those who do good (to others).

And his wife was standing (by), so she laughed, then We gave her the good news of Ishaq and after Ishaq of (a son’s son) Yaqoub.

And thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of sayings and make His favour complete to you and to the children of Yaqoub, as He made it complete before to your fathers, Ibrahim and Ishaq; surely your Lord is Knowing, Wise.
