Welcome to the Hero side of the SA2 guide! Here you will find help tips on how to complete the Hero mode. This section features all 16 stages and all 8 bosses. These are counted as spoilers, so if you want to complete the game without help, I suggest you leave now.

Sonic the Hedgehog - City Escape

Many of you have seen this stage from the SA2 trial disc. that came with Phantasy Star Online. Sonic the Hedgehog must escape from the GUN military through a San Francisco themed city.
Boss - Big Foot

Looks like the little blue hedgehog made it alive through the city. Ironically enough, GUN won't stop just yet! They bring out a man operated machined called "Big Foot" to finish the job.

 

Knuckles the Echidna - Wild Canyon

Knuckles the Echidna is bickering back and forth about the Master Emerald with a thief named Rouge. She wants the gem all for herself, but the tables are turned when Eggman attempts to steal it. Knuckles daringly breaks the jewel into many shards and now he must look for them through this Wild Canyon!

 

Boss - Dr. Eggman

Tails is flying around with his latest walker, the "Cyclone", and finds Amy in trouble. Seems as if she's cornered by the nasty Eggman himself. It's time to save Amy and challenge Eggman to a battle.
Miles "Tails" Prower - Prison Lane

With Eggman defeated for now, Amy is now safe. Sonic is still in locked away, so it's time to find the core of the prison!

 

Sonic the Hedgehog - Metal Harbor

Sonic the Hedgehog is free at last, thanks to Amy! This time you'll need to escape from the Metal Harbor and catch a ride on the space shuttle. 
Boss - Shadow

Now you get to confront the imposter hedgehog, Shadow, once an for all! It's the first vs. battle between Sonic and Shadow.
Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Forest

Sonic overhears Eggman warning Shadow to evacuate the island or it'll blow up. Our hero is no fool and starts to race through the forest. Can he make it out within 8 minutes?

 

Knuckles the Echidna - Pumpkin Hill

The guardian of the Master Emerald is at it again. He'll have to search through a spooky Pumpkin Hill stage to obtain the missing shards.

Miles "Tails" Prower - Mission Street

More shooting for Tails! GUN wants the fox as well. Tails' mission is to get pass the cops, GUN military, & explosions...alive!

 

Knuckles the Echidna - Aquatic Mine

Who would've thought searching for shards would be this tough? Be on the look out for those shards in this aquatic mine.

Miles "Tails" Prower - Route 101

You'll have fun racing around with this Cyclone in this stage. Tails' objective is to find the president before it's too late!
Miles "Tails" Prower - Hidden Base

Now that everyone is caught up with each other, we need to find out what Eggman is up to. Using his Cyclone, Tails must find the entrance to the Hidden Base!

 

Sonic the Hedgehog - Pyramid Cave

This is a wild stage that features time capsules. Be sure to move quickly to get past those closing doors. Sonic the Hedgehog has to infiltrate Eggman's Hidden Base!

 

Knuckles the Echidna - Death Chamber

Knuckles always has to deal with ghosts it seems. In this stage, you can navigate through hidden rooms and areas. Even those time capsules are featured.

Knuckles the Echidna - King Boom Boo

King Boom Boo is the one in charge around the Death Chamber. This big mischievous poltergeist won't discourage rad red, now will it?

 

Boss - Egg Golem

What do you do when Eggman unleashes a gigantic robot on you? Fight back, hedgehog style! Sonic the Hedgehog will thwart Eggman's intentions by battling this boss.

 

Miles "Tails" Prower - Eternal Engine

Destroy the colony's power generator with Tails in this involved stage. Watch out for those bombs.

 

Knuckles the Echidna - Meteor Herd

Since the space shuttle hatch opened and let out the Master Emerald shards, Knuckles must re-find them again. This stage has a constant meteor shower.
Boss - Rouge

Hey! It looks like Rouge the Bat met up with you again. Fight her so you can reclaim your shards!

 

Sonic the Hedgehog - Crazy Gadget

Crazy is a perfect word for this stage as you'll go left, right, up, and down to find Dr. Eggman!

 

Miles "Tails" Prower - Dr. Eggman

All hope is not lost, even though it looks as if Sonic died. Tails will keep the pact he made with Sonic and battle Eggman for the last time.

 

Sonic the Hedgehog - Final Rush

Rails, rails, and more rails. Time to grind your way through outer space through this breath taking level. How does it feel knowing you're one step to the end?
Boss - Shadow

Now it's time to settle this once and for all! Race against Shadow because there's no time for walking. It's time to show Shadow who you really are!
