Now since you've chosen your gun, you need some zapper games to play. In the text which follows, I list the best zapper games made for Nintendo. I have bought numerous zapper games, both fun and boring ones, and this is my opinions of which games are worth the cash.
Duck Hunt, what is there to say? This is the original NES zapper game, and also one of the best. I'd recommend buying it, you can get a copy for $0.10 or so at Funcoland. If you don't have a copy, that dog will laugh at you for being poor.
Hogan's Alley is pretty fun NES game. There are three modes of play. The first game "people" appear on the screen, and you have to shoot the robbers while avoiding the cops/women/detectives. This is pretty much a practice for the next game, which actually takes you into Hogan's Alley for some crime stopping. Similar to mode a, this mode is harder and alot more fun. Lastly is the target range, where you shoot at tin cans.
Hogans Alley is a cool game. It's worth the $4 you'd spend for it.
Next we have Wild Gunman, a western shooter. If you'd have only listened to me in part 1, you'd have the 6 shooter by now. The first two modes of play take place in a desert. One (or two in mode 2) cowboys walk across the screen. When you here the word fire, you have to nail the cowboy before he kills you.
Mode 3 places you outside a saloon. Drunken cowboys pop up everywhere and you have to shoot them at site. Very addictive game, indeed.
Gum Shoe is a very unique zapper game. You play the roll of a detective, who is bringing ransom to a kidnapper. You control your player by shooting your zapper at the spot you want your player to move. Of course, there are varius objects attacking you at the same time, and you can shoot at them to, as well as collect the stolen jewels.
Gum Shoe took me a little getting used to at first, but after a few hours of play I really got involved in this fun game.
Chiller is quite a fun NES game. You travel across creepy terrains, while shooting at objects such as skulls and baby cariages. Chiller is based off of the popular arcade game of the same name-an Exidy release.
This zapper game is a fun adventure game. The game has a few gruesome scenes, such as the torcher chamber, but nothing that terrible. You should buy this game if you can, though it is quite hard to find.
Ah yes, Baby Boomer, one of Color Dreams' earlier releases. Baby Boomer is quite a difficult game, but it is also alot of fun. You have to shoot at baby bottles, as well as the enemies of the stage. You take Boomer across many different terrains, including a park, a graveyard, a cave, and a world in the sky.
Baby Boomer will provide you with alot of hours worth of gameplay. This game did excellent in magazines, and it was even dubbed as One of the best NES zapper games of all time.
