Utter heartbreak. That is what it was. The boys basketball team finished off their season in the annual area tournament, by placing second, after losing to Coppard Glen Public School by one point. Tremendous efforts were put in by all team members, as well as the coaches, Mr. Velinuva, Mr. O' Sullivan and Ms. Sood. After rampaging through Parkland P.S. and Armadale P.S. , the boys met their match. It was anticipated that they would carry on to the Regionals, but sadly that was not what happened. After terrific playing in the tournament, Randall ended the season with a 13-3 record, the best ever. Placing 1st in the Wilclay Wildcat's tournament, and third in the Coppard Glen Classic were just few of the teams many accomplishments. Great playing from everybody made this years team a huge success. All players worked on their skills throughout the season, and if it wasn't for all of their hard work, Randall wouldn't be where they are now. This season will be a memorable one for the Randall Ravens, let's all just hope that next year's team will carry on from where this year's left off. Credit to the coaches must also be given out, as if it wasn't for their effort in shaping the team's skills up, they possibly could have not made it this far. Remember team, don't keep your heads low, this is just the start of your basketball careers!
