Homework Club

.

The Randall Public School Homework Club is a place for students to start homework early to conserve their time. The Homework club is held at recess time Monday through Thursdays unless noted on the announcements. Randall Public School feels that the program is extremely effective as it encourages students to start homework early as well as finish early. In every session (held from 12:00-1:00) students are required to sign their name in a booklet to keep track of their attendance. Upon teachers request, students must attend the homework club and finish the required homework. In this case, attendance will be checked, and noted. The homework club is open to all students and is ran by Mrs. Lowes. Although there is no "prize" for attending, students will be rewarded with the satisfaction of completing their homework. This is the second year this club is being held, and it is hoped that this program will support the idea of early homework completion to students. Homework in all areas of schooling are permitted at the club, which makes it a fast and reliable place to finish work. It is said that work is priority, hence kids will have the necessary time to finish work during school hours. For all these reasons and more, the homework club is a time saving, affective area in Randall Public School.

This program will allow children to benifet solely by completing homework early. Work that is assigned will be able to get starteed or finished on, but it is depended on a student's initiative. Recent tests shows that students would more like to finish homework early to attend with other business. The homework club is growing increasingly popular in Randall, so it is hoped that timings will be extended very soon. The goal is simple, to motivate children to finish work early. It can not be stressed enough, that the foundation of sucsess in by completion, consequently, students must be encouraged that, and that is what the homework club does. Encourages students to go beyond the borders, to expand their minds by taking time out of their day to work so that more available time at home will be rewarding.
