Although the volleyball season has been over for quite sometime, the memories and pleasurable times still remain in the minds and in the hearts of all of the team members. The girl's volleyball team, led by their coach Mr. Schuck had an admirable season. They all played tremendously and had a wonderful time playing the game of volleyball. They learned things they never knew before, and further enhanced their skills of serving, bumping and volleying, thanks to their superb coaching.
At the area tournament, which was held at Middlefield High School, the girl's unfortunately weren't contenders in the rankings of the 1999 season. However, they did try their best, and had fun, which is really what sports are all about. They held their heads up high, and losing to them was not a factor. What mattered the most was that they had an amusing time, and because of that, the girls deserve huge congratulations. So, when you see any of these following people walking in the halls; the captain Tracy Markos, Maria Doucas, Danica Ming, Shenel Mothersill, Christine Kellowan or Summaiyyah Razakazi, let them know that they played well, put in all their efforts and represented Randall Public School, in a satisfying way. -Maria Doucas
