Ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring.
ROUND ONE:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 11 dc in ring, join with a sl t to top of starting ch.
ROUND TWO:
Ch2, hdc in sl st; 2 hdc in each dc around: 24 hdc,
counting starting ch 2 as an hdc; join with sl st to top of starting ch.
ROUND THREE:
Ch 1, sc in same sp as sl st; *ch 5, sk 2 hdc, sc in next hdc; rep from * 6 times,
ending ch 5, join with sl st to first sc of rnd: 8 ch lps made.
ROUND FOUR:
*In next ch-5 lp, work (sc,hdc,5dc,hdc,sc): petal made; rep from * 7 times,
join with sl st to first sc: 8 petals made.
ROUND FIVE:
*Ch 5; holding first petal forward and working behind it, sc around next sc of Rnd 3,
inserting hook from back to front to back rep from * 6 times;
ch 5, do not join: 8 ch lps made.
ROUND SIX:
Working behind first rnd, of petals, * into next lp, work a petal of (sc, hdc, 7dc, hdc, sc);
rep from * 7 times, join with sl st to first sc.
ROUND SEVEN:
*Ch 7; holding first petal forward adn working behind it as before,
sc around next sc of round 6; rep from * 6 times; ch 7,
do not join: 8 ch lps made.
ROUND EIGHT:
*Into next lp, work petal of (sc, hdc, 9 dc, hdc, sc);
repeat from * 7 times, join to first sc in rnd.
Flower center is now completed.
ROUND NINE:
Ch 7, *in 5th dc of next petal work (dc,ch4,dc) for corner; ch 4, dc between next 2 petals; ch 4, sc in 5th dc of next petal; ch 4, dc between this and next petal; ch 4; rep from * twice; in 5th dc of next petal work (dc,ch4,dc); ch 4, dc between next 2 petals; ch 4, sc in 5th dc of next petal; ch4, jin with a sl st to 4th ch of starting ch.
ROUND TEN:
Sl st into next ch-4 sp, ch 3, 3 dc in same sp, ch1; *in corner
sp work (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc); ch 1, 4 dc in next sp; (ch 1, 3 dc in next sp) twice; ch 1, 4 dc in next sp; ch 1, rep from * twice; in corner sp work (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc); ch 1, join wih a sl st to top of starting ch.
ROUND ELEVEN:
*Sl st into next ch-4 Sp, ch 3, 3 dc in next 3 dc,
ch 1, (2dc,ch3,2dc in corner space), ch 1, dc in
4 dc, ch 1, dc in next 3dc, ch 1, dc in next 3dc,
repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to first ch 3.
ROUND TWELVE:
*Dc in next 4 DC, Ch 2, (3DC,CH3,3DC in corner space),
Ch 2, Dc in next 4 DC, ch 1, dc in next 3 dc, ch1,
dc in next 3 dc, ch 1, continue around from *, Sl St in first ch 3.
ROUND THIRTEEN:
Repeat Row 12, Fasten off. Weave all loose ends.
